Auto-save Custom Form

In my instance, there are several pretty-lengthy custom forms. My users can sometimes spend minutes entering the information, and for whatever reasons (accidental keystroke, double swipe, accidental refresh, etc), got into situation where they lost the work due to browser refresh.

Can we introduce an auto-save feature, ala gmail where the content is preserved even before user hits SAVE.

    I 100% second this! We treat our custom forms like internal briefs and users spend a good deal of time filling them out. Sometimes they have to step away, look something up, and don't come back until later. By then, they've been kicked out of the system. An autosave feature would be incredibly helpful and a time saver.

    We need this as outline and possibly a warning to the user if they navigate away accidentally ("Are you sure you want to leave this page, you haven't clicked save....")

    FYI to all, Leappoint (a Workfront partner) can do this. So, if you're already engaged with them or can, they can implement a lot of the functionality Workfront doesn't have out of the box. It would amazing if this was just OOTB functionality though!
