The only thing I think is that maybe Workfront are looking at having all areas of Setup have group-specific preferences (like Statuses), and then maybe they'll add the full auditing. Dunno though!

@Jamie Hill, you are correct - Workfront will continue the efforts to introduce Group-specific controls and settings in the Setup area to provide with more administration flexibility to business units using the same instance of Workfront.
Mariam - We do appreciate your info & clarification, but please relay to Workfront that introducing Group-specific controls does not help with the admin concern we are expressing, and for what I believe is the true intention of this request. I am not looking to push out group-specific controls, but looking for security audits & logs for existing admin functions - it really is critical. As an admin, when I am asked how something changed (including who & when), and I am forced to reply that I have no way of knowing - it reflects poorly on the Workfront application.
Hi Mariam, having an audit trail for system settings is critical to our organization also. We have a large number of groups onboarding and the System Admin's as well as Group admin numbers have increased. We have had a number of instances where the Schedule was modified but we had no way of working out who did it and why. The ramifications on groups and their day to day operation has been critical and disruptive. Yes please , we vote highly for an audit trail of all system settings . Thank you again.

@ Marie and Olivera, thank you for your insight and sharing the product needs of your organization. As mentioned in my comment on Jul 2nd, Workfront Product team understands customers' need to track more changes in the Setup area. Though due to other product priorities, those capabilities will hardly make into our next 12-months roadmap, which is the reason why this idea status was set to "Unplanned".
Thanks for your understanding and collaboration ! Please continue sharing your product ideas and feedback with us.
This is a major pain point for our organization. Since this is 12 months on, and no viable alternative has been introduced, will this be reconsidered for planning? We have reduced the number of admins and streamlined our change management process, but things still happen, and even the support desk is limited in its ability to review DB logs. Being able to see changes to configuration settings or removal of milestones in a project plan is a minimal requirement (and quite reasonable) in our organization's view.
Hoping you'll reconsider this. Today we have a request queue where everyone (admins and non-admins) are required to record all our changes and suggested changes. This even goes down to the granularity level of deactivating users. However, as you can imagine, not everything gets recorded and I sometimes don't discover other admins have changed things until weeks, sometimes months later.
Hi everyone! I know it has been awhile, but I wanted to update informing you that this idea made it onto our leaderboard and was voted up as the #4 top idea on the list. If you haven't seen, check here: https://one.workfront.com/s/innovation-lab-leaderboard
We are in the process of finalizing results and will update in the next few weeks. Stay tuned.
