ask for approval checkbox - ability to select users

One of the ways a user asks for approval for a document is going to the updates area, makes a comment and then click the people icon so they can tag users and then hit the checkbox: ask for approval and then submit. When the user does this, sometimes, not everyone who's tagged needs to be an approver, the user just wants to inform them about the document. It would be easier if there is a checkbox beside each tagged name to indicate these are the people to ask approval from.
