Approval Path based on Document or User Uploads

Can we have a feature for approval paths that can be set up so that either:

- On a project template, we set up an approval system so that when a certain role uploads a document, the approver will be notified of a document for approval.

We have project templates that are for different collateral types and currently have approvals set up on the task level which can be confusing to some and a bit redundant. If we could have it so that for example when the "Logo" template is used for a project, any time a "designer" uploads a document, "approver A" is notified to approve/review the document.

Or

- When a certain person uploads something it will notify someone (their manager) of a pending approval.
