Allow Display Logic of a field based on choice selected from a typeahead field

Having a typeahead field that is bringing in Portfolio Names is great because now we don't have to maintain a separate dropdown field with the Portfolio Names as new ones are added or old ones marked "InActive". The problem is that I have other fields that need to display based on the Portfolio selected and I don't want other fields to display when that Portfolio is selected. Allowing display logic to use the typeahead field is a great next step.

I completely agree. I don't understand why we can't utilize display logic with typeahead fields. It almost defeats the purpose.

I literally just ran into this issue when trying to build custom form logic based on the Portfolio (calculated field). Now I need to have my user select from a dropdown to display the corresponding logic. Feels very inefficient for my users to select the name of the portfolio in a custom form on a project that is IN the said portfolio.

This functionality should be available.
