In “My Work” when you add a Task it always assume that the start date is immediate. You can set a “Commit Date” for completion but not a start date. This means that these tasks can show up on the team “Working On” view for a long period of time. It would be really helpful if you could specify “Committed start” and “Committed End” dates so that both can be in the future.

If the task originated from a project, which it sounds like it isn't in your case, but if it did, you can change the layout template you use to include the planned start on date as well as the due on date. Having the visibility of the planned start date helps you manage your workload by choosing to focus on those tasks that require more time to complete.

I'd be happy if the "Sort by" filter had Planned Start Date as on of the selections in the drop down in the Home Page. This would help users to look at tasks that need to be set to "in progress" on a specific date due to a must start on constraint to keep the projects in on target status.
