Accessibility to view all the templates attached to a project

Description - In Workfront, we should have ability to view all the templates associated to a project as this creates problem while understanding which template could have impacted tasks/ finances and lot other things for a project.

Why is this feature important to you - The data reflected on a project we are not able to understand the reason for it as we do not have idea as to what template was attached.

How would you like the feature to work - In project overview section, under templates section it should display all the templates attached.

Current Behaviour - Currently the project only reflects the first template attached and not its subsequent templates.

When a project is made from a template, the originating template name is recorded on the project. When subsequent templates are added, the originating template name is recorded at the task level. But sometimes, secondary (and tertiary) templates are added for other reasons, like adding queue topics, or document forlders, etc.

Considering this, when a second template is added to a project the following changes will (or will not) carry over from the new template:

  • Project Name does not change
  • Custom Forms
    • Will add forms if not already present
  • Overview
    • Description – will add if blank, will not overwrite
    • Basic Information
      • Status – will not change
      • Priority – will not change
      • URL – will add if blank, will not overwrite
    • Project Condition
      • Condition Type - will not change
    • Project Dates
      • Schedule Mode – will not change
      • Planned start date – will not change
    • Project Association
      • Portfolio – will add if blank, will not overwrite
      • Program – will add if blank, will not overwrite
      • Group – will add if blank, will not overwrite
      • Company – will add if blank, will not overwrite
    • Project Stakeholders
      • Owner - will add if blank, will not overwrite
      • Sponsor - will add if blank, will not overwrite
      • Resource Manager – adds cumulatively
    • Finance
      • Budget - adds info if blank, will not replace
      • Performance Metrics – will change, budget info (above) changes based on these settings
      • Benefit - will add if blank, will not overwrite
      • Cost - will add if blank, will not overwrite
      • Revenue - will add if blank, will not overwrite
    • Project Settings
      • Milestone path - will add if blank, will not overwrite
      • Completion mode, summary completion mode, update type, schedule, user time off, resource leveling, risk, do not change
      • Resource Pools – add cumulatively
    • Task Settings
      • Task Default Custom Forms – will not change
    • Access – all settings change
