Ability to Preview Documents vs. Download and Open

Hi,

 

It would be VERY helpful if we could preview documents, i.e., xlsx, .pdf., docx, .msg, etc., that are added to Documents instead of having to download and open them. Being able to preview would allow the user to quickly go through them (when there are several of the same type) to find the relevant one they need. 

 

The Preview button exists, but it acts the same as the Download button except for pdfs which open in a new browser window.

    Hi there. We are experiencing this exact behavior. It appears that images (jpeg, gif) PDFs, and txt documents work fine, but not Microsoft Office documents. @kennylarkins , did you ever find a solution?

    @alans-1, unfortunately, no. I wish Adobe would provide a solution for this because it's a pain if you have a lot of documents attached.
