If I create an expense on the project, I can't later assign that expense to a certain task. I want to be able to assign a task to an existing project expense. I would also like to be able to change the expense task assignment as needed.
This is similar to a query I've just raised with Workfront over editing the task to which an expense has been assigned initially. At the moment, it is not possible to edit the task to which an expense has been assigned. Once allocated, this is fixed.
We often assign budgets & forecasts to template tasks at very early project stages before the assignment of a project manager and the creation of bespoke project tasks. Without the ability to edit task assignment for expenses, this can leave us with budgets and forecasts against incorrect tasks further down the line.
