changing the order of routes on a router

Avatar

Good morning, I have a router that has 4 routes on my fusion scenario. i added a 5th route but i need this route to execute first. I know it can be done but just forgot, how do i change the order of routes so the 5th one i created is first. I tried unlinking the route, moving it up over the other routes and reconnected it, thinking it would be first, but when i hit the magic wand to align the routes it moves it back down to the bottom.

Thanks! James - JPMC Chase

You have to decouple the routes that you want to move down in priority, then re-link them in the order you want them to process.

You can also just add a router before the router. How do you decouple the routes? I've had some problems with this as when I auto align the scenario it messes up the order.

Sorry not really what i want to do.

It won't break anything and the filter stays with the module.

Just unlink all paths after the router, and re-link them in the desired order, as Chris said. We do this all the time to modify execution order.

Right-click on the route and select un-link.
