Hello everyone,We are not seeing a lot of visitors/views being counted for an A/B test when we pull up the reporting in Analytics. I've tried my best to explain below how the A/B test is setup, and have also explained my understanding of the issue. Any help with shedding more light into this issue, or confirming my theory, is greatly appreciated!!This A/B test is being run within our Single Page booking engine. We wanted to deliver the test only to visitors who are clicking on the CTA (Call To A...

Issue in brief:The overall audience refinement for a form-based (Target) campaign isn't shown/visible on the campaign's detail view.Solution:Make the overall audience refinement shown/visible on the campaign's detail view.Details:The overall audience refinement is visible (highlighted with a red box) while editing the form-based campaign as shown below:The form-based campaign's detail view doesn't have this refinement as shown below:So it would be nice to have it visible here.

Hi there. My team also recently discussed something similar. But Its still in dev and we haven't gone live yet.Anyways, our theory is to use two campaigns.The first XT Activity will set up listeners on the buttons to trigger an mboxUpdate() call. This call will re-fire all campaigns running on that URL. We will also set an mbox param/cookie that the second campaign will trigger upon.The second is an A/B test in which the Audience is only those who have a particular cookie set. This is what I rem...

We scheduled a meeting with our Adobe support team and they had a developer take a look at it. It turned out to be a bug in at.js which failed to "unhide" the mbox by removing the "mboxDefault" class from our mbox wrapper div when the call to Target timed out. Just wanted to update the status and share this general bug with others.

Hello,We are having issues where our webpages are loading, but our target-global-mbox is hiding the content.In the console, there is an error that says "[Target] executeAjax(): timeout : timeout".When we refresh the page, it seems to go away sometimes, but seems to recur a lot on IE.This issue occurs randomly and we are not able to point out the cause of this.We migrated to at.js recently in our staging environment, but I do not think this is the cause of the issue.I've attached a screencapture....

Trouble with Mutation Observer

Hello. This is my first post. I am trying to observe changes made to my 'ItemList' using Mutation Observer. I'm injecting my code in Custom Code section of VEC. The observers are getting inititalized and my code works during edit Activity. But in the Activity preview it doesn't work and I am confused about this behavior. If you need any logs to further examine this, feel free to ask.Here is my custom code: (function(){ var id; window.MutationObserver = window.MutationObserver || window.WebKitMutationObserver || window.MozMutationObserver; function events(){ var content, bookBtns; if((content = document.querySelector('.booking-wrapper')) !== undefined){ content.style.opacity = "0"; //console.debug("set opacity to 0"); } if(document.querySelector('.book-room-btn') !== undefined){ bookBtns = document.getElementsByClassName('book-room-btn'); //console.debug("changing text"); var i; for(i=0;i<bookBtns.length;i++){ var bookBtn = bookBtns[i]; bookBtn.textContent = "Book"; } if(i == bookBtns.length){ content.style.opacity = "1"; //console.debug("set opacity to 1"); window.clearInterval(id); //console.debug("cleaned up"); } } }; //id1 = window.setInterval(events, 50); window.addEventListener('hashchange', function(event){ console.debug("hash changed!!!"); if(window.location.hash.substr(1).split('&')[0] == "/step2"){ document.querySelector('.booking-wrapper').style.opacity = "0"; window.setTimeout(function(){ id = window.setInterval(events, 100); }, 1500); } }); document.addEventListener('DOMContentLoaded', function(event){ var target = document.querySelector('#room-choices'), observer = new MutationObserver(function(mutations){ console.debug("mutation detected"); document.querySelector('.booking-wrapper').style.opacity = "0"; //console.debug(mutations.length); mutations.forEach(function(){ events(); //event.stopPropagation(); }); }), config = {childList:true, subtree:true}; if(observer) observer.observe(target, config); //Mutation Observer Polyfill for IE 10 else{ target.addEventListener('DOMNodeInserted', function(){ console.debug("Node mutation detected"); document.querySelector('.booking-wrapper').style.opacity = "0"; events(); }); target.addEventListener('DOMSubtreeModified', function(){ console.debug("subtree mutation detected"); document.querySelector('.booking-wrapper').style.opacity = "0"; events(); }); } }); })();
