Our purchase of AEM will also bring a much needed and formalized approach to digital asset management for our organization. I'm looking for feedback on how others have approached configuring the DAM to enable a local NAS to managed by the AEM UI. Our MediaLibrary and other web-only assets will be served by an external hosting setup, but we'd like to keep our 4TB+ of raw assets local.Any input you've got to offer will be greatly appreciated!-Scott

All,Our purchase of AEM will be this organizations first real foray into formal digital asset management. To that end, we'd like to keep the non-WWW files (.indd, .psd, video, etc) in a storage drive separate from the standard AEM instance. I'm looking for any feedback from the group regarding the best practice for this? Any words of wisdom or caution before looking to accomplish this? Thanks in advance,-Scott

Andrew,FIrst, Godspeed and good luck on your project. I don't mean that cynical but after going through this process recently, I'll confirm for you that the project will test your team in many ways (aptitude, patience, stamina, etc). But it also sounds like you've done your homework and can lead the team. One recommendation I have would be to pick up a copy of "Ryan Lunka's AEM: Classroom in a Book". If you're familiar with the tradition CiB series from Adobe, I'll tell you that this book is muc...

Hey everyone, I've got a clean version of AEM 6.0 installed as a DAM server with author and publish instances running. Unfortunately, I've run into an issue where the lightbox action works fine in author but is dead as a doornail (Halloween reference) in publish. Any thoughts on what might be causing the disruption? Many thanks in advance!-Scott
