Agree, sharing of segments is currently restricted to the same "org" (company).what you could try is creating a service with API access to both/all companies to "copy" the desired items. not the same as sharing, but at least an option...

drop downs are NOT dynamic at the moment, means if a new code arrives, you need to manually add it to the drop down list...but you can add just he new one by moving the item over the drop down and holding "shift" while release. this will add the new item to the existing list.
