Hi,I have a situation in publish env where an event listener is
triggered when a particular action(node write, delete, property
addition, etc) is performed on or under a particular content node path
(node is nt:unstructured).I have to reverse replicate the updates in the
node structure from publish to author when the event listener is
triggered. I am trying to write the code for the same since reverse
replication is by default only provided for cq:page nodes.I was hoping
to get some useful resou...
Actually, the thing is, the third party has to post data to a Sling post
servlet in AEM author. I have tried hitting the servlet using POSTMAN..i
need to provide basic auth (username and password) for the purpose.
Thank you...I had tried that before also. Just that, the user can view
CRXDE Lite and the package manager..However, whenever the user tries to
perform any of the actions, it does not work.Just wanted to clarify if
it is the right approach, giving a user's credentials to a third party.
Even though they cannot really do anything (as far as the information
that i could find suggests)
HiThere is a situation where a third party needs to read and write nodes
in the content node of crx Author via an API. Since it's Author that
they need access to, the AEM user credentials would be required by them
for the read write to happen. Now, what i thought was i'll create a user
that has explicit access only to perform the read/write/delete/modify on
the particular content path. However, i would like to restrict access to
all the AEM consoles to that user, if that's even possible. Basicall...
I missed out on a very important thing here actually. For now, i am
testing my post servlet by using http client code in localhost itself.
But actually, there will be a third party call to the sling post
servlet. So, when i try to hit my sling post servlet via POSTMAN, i am
able to get response only if i do the following:1. Provide basic Auth
(username and password) while making the call.2. In OSGI configuartion,
I have enabled allow empty in Apache sling referrer filter. In Apache
Granite CSRF fi...
HiI am trying to write a post service in aem to which i am sending data
in the request body.To read the data, i have a sling Post servlet where
i am expecting to get the data sent by post via request.getReader().To
test this post servlet, i have created another servlet in the same
instance which has a doGet() and the following code:I am hitting this
servlet's path in my instance to execute the following
code.CloseableHttpClient httpClient =
HttpClients.createDefault();HttpPost postRequest = new
Thanks Kautuk. I have already gone through that link. The extra
clientlibs property works only for touch ui dialogs. What if i have
created a custom xtype for my classic dialog and need to put that in a
specific clientlib folder rather than giving the category as
cq.widgets.I tried using cq:include as well. Doesn't work. Please
suggest a solution for classic ui dialogs.
Hi,I have a similar question.I have 2 dropdowns and i need
selectionchanged event to populate the values of the 2nd dropdown.I was
fetching both dropdown values from a servlet whose path i am giving in
options property. I later tried using the listener to populate the
values for the 2nd dropdown. 1st dropdown still uses the options
property. Please refer the link below, the usecase is explained
here:https://forums.adobe.com/message/9688569#9688569I have also tried
with the solution provided in th...
So, if i have to add a custom xtype or custom validation for my dialog
or anything that would require me to create a clientlibs for the
particular dialog, setting categories to cq.widgets for classic ui and
cq.authoring.dialog for touch ui, How would i ensure that the scripts i
add in this clientlibs is not used by any other dialog but this one. As
it causes problems, because similar triggers are applicable to all the
dialogs which hampers the working of other dialogs as the functions are
