Hi @hamidk92094312 I appreciate your reviewing my post! My suggestion is different from the one mentioned [1] - we only want AEM assets to be able to be restored after deletion. Pages being much smaller does not make sense to be backed up. But if you lose a 500MB of assets accidentally, you would definitely want to restore them, without running a full repository restore. How and when we would know that the trash bin idea will be considered for implementation? Thanks,Krass

Hi,A nice feature to implement will be a standard "trash-bin" functionality for AEM Assets. Right now we have customization (implemented on AEM 6.3) as described herehttps://kbwebconsult.com/2020/07/21/the-enigma-of-aem-apache-sling-filters/ Best,Krass

Hi @kautuk_sahni - thanks for the tutorial! One question - how an AEM developer/partner can get an access to an AEM as a cloud service sandbox outside of clients' licensed environments? Thanks,Krass

Hi Vinod,Well depends on your use case. If the console is used by internal users (behind a firewall) - it could be good enough. I would not use it to expose assets to the public (on Internet).Best,KrassimirKBWEB

Hi Brett.Birschbach - I am having the same problem with asset link sharing outside of the company firewall(s). I definitely don't want jeopardize the security of the author instance by opening it to the Internet. to I am exploring an options to publish assets to one of the "publish" instance(s) living in the DMZ, and have an internal user role that can generate the assets share link from that same instance. of course replicating of that link to other publish instances will not work, which makes...

Hi mozzvinod - I just wonder - where do you read that you "can't I directly expose expose DAM/Assets console on Publish server to the end user by enabling it through dispatcher?"Thanks,Krassimir

Hi Scott,Are you saying that the "AEM IntelliJ Plugin" is officially supported by Adobe? If so, can you provide simple steps on how to export/import content from IDE to the local CRX instance? Thanks in advance,Krass

Dear AEM Community,I recently came across the following questions:1. What are best practices to backup a large set of assets in AEM 6.3 DAM (CentOS)?2. If someone accidentally deletes an asset(s) in AEM DAM 6.3, what are the ways to restore these asset(s) quickly? Thanks,Krass

Hi All,I have identified the cause of the issue. Apparently, if the clientlib as defined in the step 2, 3, and 4 of the solution, presented in Experiencing Adobe Experience Manager - Day CQ: AEM 62 - Touch UI Composite Image Multifield exists more than once in the repository, that will cause the author dialog of each instance of the component, to have multiple image drop areas equal of the total number of occurrences of the above clientlib. The issue is not only visual, but also functional. Afte...
