Well, you can check the OSGI Webconsole for the exact bundle name and version, and in case it's opensource, you should be able to get the source for it from the usual locations.

Be aware, that "reindexing" is something which was done way to often in the past, and in most cases it was not necessary at all and sometimes even caused more issues. Please performa a reindex (as a process to fix a problem) only when the Adobe support instructed you to do. Please check the official documentation regarding this: https://docs.adobe.com/content/help/en/experience-manager-65/deploying/practices/best-practices-for-queries-and-indexing.html#re-indexing

Hi @sravanthib39626 ,For Lucene indexes, the actual index content lives in the BlobStore. So, yes, it does add to the BlobStore. Reference at second paragraph of [1] [1] -https://github.com/AdobeDocs/experience-manager-65.en/blob/master/help/sites-deploying/best-practices-for-queries-and-indexing.md#removing-indexes-removing-indexes

@sheela_do As @Nirmal_Jose told, you can do the same using "Move" option. Select the page you want to rename 2. Change the values as required. and select the destination as same folderClick next and choose the same folder as destination and you can rename (title or node name or both) the file . ThanksVeena

Not following your issue. How do you want AEM to interact with S3? Sounds like you want an AEM Service to put objects into an S3 bucket. You state: " add objects to Amazon S3 bucket" If that is the case, why are you worrying about install folders? You should be looking at how to use the Amazon Java S3 API to interact with S3 from an OSGi service.

As @BrianKasingli mentioned, bobcat is a mature functional test frame work AEM. Adobe has started a new repo for aem-testing and its getting updated well nowadays and has examples of smock tests for various aem ootb structures. Please have a look at it at [1] [1] - https://github.com/adobe/aem-test-samples

This won't work because I am trying to look for duplicate assets and the jcr:uuid property would be unique even for the duplicate assets

Heya, you mentioned there is a component - headline component that is pushing selectable H1 now. You can change how that H1 is delivered. If thats component is pushing H1 into a richtext, then we may need to do a groovy script to update all H1 from the particular property node

My personal opinion - if you are not able to use the content fragment models and its content fragments for the content API then the information architecture needs to be reviewed again. Unless you are able to manage the content fragment content with content fragment models, it's no more structured content which can fail on a longer term maintenance. Also, this approach won't use what AEM is best for - WYSIWYG experience for content creation. So my view for a non-AEM content API will be 1. Identify...

@pmueller88,I think, before jumping into creating mega component one-time-use components, we can do something better. Let's think about cutting cost, enabling reusability and flexibility. Can we break down the creative into reusable components? Can a group of reusable components achieve the same outcome, based on the creative? If we can strategically create components to shape up the marketing team's landing page, their team can be the ones who create the pages themselves, and since the marketer's...

I know its a slight overkill and may not support your exact requirement, but AEM has an OOTB library that can help you with any date conversion. - moment.jsMoment JS can be found at [1], category name 'moment'You can use various conversions as mentioned in [2] [1] - /libs/clientlibs/granite/moment [2] - https://momentjs.com/docs/#/get-set/minute/

Content as a Service (CaaS) was managed via a sling feature flag in AEM 6.3 only. In 6.4, its enabled by defaults and we don't have this flag. You can follow the link @Arun_Patidar mentioned and straight away create the content fragments using content fragment models and expose them as JSON end points directly. If you are 6.4.0, default core component version will be <2.4.0. In this case CF component is not available, you need to install extension package to get it. eg. 2.2.2 version extension i...

In TeamSite content stored in the form of data capture record ( xml format). In AEM content stored in the form of properties's value in JCR nodes.Create a mapping between dcr (xml) nodes to jcr nodes/properties.Then you can create a custom java application that can read xmls (dcrs) from TeamSite as an input and can create JCR node tree as per mapping and store content in the form of properties values in created jcr nodes in AEM

You can look at using AWS Cloud Solutions in conjunction with AEM to build chat functionality. For example - https://aws.amazon.com/blogs/contact-center/reaching-more-customers-with-web-and-mobile-chat-on-amazon-connect/

I think there might be configuration issue with the settings.xml file and its not able to connect to Adobe Repo. There is a sample settings.xml file provided under the "Create the project" section at [1] [1] https://docs.adobe.com/content/help/en/experience-manager-learn/getting-started-wknd-tutorial-develop/project-setup.html

The package is a compiled version of your code where the java code is compiled to a jar files and is included in the /apps//install folder along with ui.apps content. Rest of the configurations under /apps, etc can be imported into eclipse, but not the java code. If you want to develop again, then you need the source code of the application which you can build again into package. Adobe provides a standard https://github.com/adobe/aem-project-archetype which defines the structure of the project w...

As per the screenshot the number of tabs are fixed, so you can have another tab - order selector - where you can configure the order. Btw, I would prefer this to be done as a container and subcomponent structure instead of a blobbed up dialog.

We have similar situation right now and I am looking into a solution for the above. it seem to me the design/policies are defined on template level and hence same template cannot be used on two different site with different design configuration. So solution I see is to create a set of templates per site which would result with big amount of templates. Did you find a solution for above, or did you end using static templates?
