I was able to resolve our issue by following @Vijayalakshmi_S OSGI factory approach here. In addition of overriding the WCM modes for edit and preview under /apps/site/components/content/pdfviewer/v1/pdfviewer/pdfviewer.html to account for our custom context path /author to reference back to the Assets Manager.

Thanks for taking the time Jena, your steps pretty much match what I described on mine, with the exception that I did not remove the child nodes from the overlay and perhaps you meant to leave the pdfviewer node and not the folder?... or maybe that is the node you used instead?...anyhow, I replicated your steps in WeRetail and still failed. I think the issues is (as stated on my last paragraph) with our application not having the same contextPath in my URL as the AEM default...we included the wo...

This may not be exclusively for AEM, but I would like to know what is the best approach considering the framework.I’m creating an Infinitescroll solution in a JSP fileI have a java class that uses query builder to load content into a jsp page. The class will load a content list based on a search filter. The solutions I found are:By creating a servlet, which I think it will require to refactor the whole business logic.By creating JSONObject and pull from it.By Calling the existing method (Which I ...

So, I know it's been a while since I first had this issue, but I think it's worth sharing my discoveries. As I described before the error only occurred on higher environments. Even from the server, so that ruled out any dispatcher filters. The issue originated when creating runmode configurations for each env to be able to use debugging locally. When using GCC I also set the property htmllibmanager.minify="{Boolean}true". This automatically defaults to AEM YUI OOTB compiling tool, overriding the...

Hey guys, I want to give you an update: So I found out how this cq.jquery-ui.js was brought into publish. Somehow /etc/clientlibs/foundation/personalization was included in one of our custom files, this folder directory carries a long list of libraries that were loading onto the page, one of then was legacy which has cq.jquery-ui as dependency. Also learned that the .accordion method used in our custom js file needs jquery-ui in order to function. I hope it helps someone else with a similar issu...

Hi,As we completed some clientlibs cleanup we encountered a vulnerability issue. We realized that etc/clientlibs/foundation/jquery-ui.min.js is not quite getting minified in production. It almost looks a different file than what we have on other lower environments. We know this is an OOTB and we need it available in the publish instance.we are using GCC compiler for js minify. No obfuscation.I'm attaching expected file and production when access thru https://samplesite.com/etc/clientlibs/foundat...

@ChitraMadan thanks for the tip on how to restrict the lib by mode. This would help if it's really a dependency in author. As mentioned earlier, this was legacy from a previous version.

Thanks for the validation! @Vaibhavi. It must have been added as dependency since it shows in the head. I was having a hard time finding the reference. I'll look into instance check to see if I can locate the component/element in which is called.

We are trying to cleanup some of the unnecessary dependencies we inherited from legacy CQ5.6.1. We noticed there was a list of jquery-ui.min.js/css loading on the public pages. We understand all /libs, /foundation client libraries serve mostly authoring; therefore we want to start removing some of these from publish instance. Primarily the jquery-ui.Can you help us understand how are we bringing this into the Publish instance? We checked the following categories:cq.jquery, jquery, granite.jquery,...

I'm a solution partner, and it was very confusing, I took the https://solutionpartners.adobe.com/content/dam/spp_assets/public/public_4/Partner_Learner_Journey.pdf#sa_src=web-messaging path training, finished the front-end and back-end to prepared for the AEM Developer Certification AD0-E103 › It didn't really helped me since most of the question were mostly debugging than actual knowledge...after finishing both paths I thought were best, I was not ready. Will the links above cover for it as wel...
