Hi all, I am working on developing a training program for new employees at my company. I am wondering if anyone has experience with training new developers for AEM, what your process looks like, whether you have separate front end / back end boarding etc. All information is very much appreciated - thank you

Hi VipMishra, let me clarify - I am not asking about what Touch UI is. I am asking if it would be a challenge to implement a Touch UI microsite on an instance that has WCM Authoring UI Mode Service set to CLASSIC. Or at least what would be required to make it work.

I am working with a client who uses Classic UI as default but we would like to implement a microsite using Touch UI. How easy / hard would this be?

Not sure I understand your question Radha. The node server will process every request, unless the servlet is cached by dispatcher, as edubey mentioned.

Hey AEM friends, this is a quick little tutorial on how to generate and build the AEM archetype. I know there are multiple tutorials on this, but I figured it would be helpful for me to learn, and someone else might find it useful as well. Hope you enjoy and all questions/comments/feedback are welcome! How to generate and build the AEM Archetype with AEM 6.3 - YouTube

Bob, that's correct. Someone at Adobe can correct me if I'm wrong, but I imagine it is a preferred default because they didn't want to surprise anyone. If you are migrating, you probably want to leave it alone, unless you want to enable your FE devs to write newer JavaScript.

So, can the plugin Parit posted be added to the official documentation? I don't think it makes sense that someone would need to search the forums to find it.

Hey there, I have been playing around with the gcc minifier in the Adobe Granite HTML Library Manager settings and it looks great and a big improvement over YUI. One question though. Is it safe to use across the board (i.e. set in OSGi config?) or is it a better idea to apply gcc minification to client libraries I have inserted (i.e. by using the jsProcessor property on the cq:ClientLibraryFolder node). Thanks!

ParitMittal wrote... Hi Deepak, If the custom data layer is a modification of the ContextHub schema be sure to add “ContextHub” in the Data Layer Root field. Also, The schema you are providing is incorrect . The schema for your data layer will be like : {"$schema": "http://json-schema.org/draft-04/schema#","type": "object","properties": {"01-session-store": {"type": "object","properties": { "name": {"type": "string"},"age": {"type": "number"} },"required": ["name","age"] }} } Rest of the things ...
