Does the node at "/content/www/us/en/as/asd/jcr:content/rr.html" actually exist?

If you are getting a StackOverflowError, that suggests you've created an endless loop. Is this code is being executed from one of the components used on /content/geometrixx.html? You should be able to see what is happening by looking at the stack trace produced by the overflow error.

CQ is not a JavaEE container. It can run in a JavaEE container, but does not provide one.If you provide the specific XML you are referring to, perhaps someone can tell you how to achive something similar in CQ.

These files aren't used in CQ/AEM unless you are deploying into an App Server.

FWIW, I usually use /etc/clientlibs/<company name>/<library name>. You can use /etc/designs, but that can get a bit awkward.
