Hi,You make sure you do it manually in AEM 6.5you can copy the existing colunmitem jsp and just add the part highlights

I agree with @Jörg_Hoh , one should not use CRXDE light for development. Try to avoid doing any manual code changes directly in AEM.

This is not practical specaily Adobe hosted environment where PROD admin rights are with Adobe. There should be group or group of people who can also do this. This will allow better Authoring experience and tracking of changes and unwanted edit.
