Re: Sling Dynamic Includes and authored templates rajeev_yadav - Adobe Experience Manager
CauseExtra SDI config needed for /conf folder.Solution* Add extra configuration for /conf folder.* Add "ModMimeUsePathInfo On" to the VirtualHost in Apache so includes get processed on the first request.

Re: Impersonate user is SSO enabled portal rajeev_yadav - Adobe Experience Manager
ALindley: I was able to make it work on SSO enabled portal. There are 2 things that needs to be done in order to achieve this:1. Set sling:sudo cookie with the user name that you want to impersonate as.2. On Server side, using user admin or any service user that has priviledge on /home/users, set the rep:impersonator property as current user on the user that you are trying to impersonate as.

@Jörg HohThank you for the details. Does jrUser needs any specific permissions in repository in order to successfully grant impersonation right to canImpersonate?

How to set rep:impersonators property on a user rajeev_yadav - Adobe Experience Manager
Hi All,I am using AEM 6.3 & I have a use case where User A needs to be setup as impersonator on user B using api code. In order to achieve this, I need to setup rep:impersonators property on user B.I have tried couple of options but none of these seems to be setting this property on user:1. Added User A to user-administrators group and then tried to call grantimpersonators method on user B using user A but it always returns false.2. Created a system user and added it to users-administrators grou...

Re: Sling Dynamic Includes and authored templates rajeev_yadav - Adobe Experience Manager
We can't unlock the component as it is the header/ footer for template. These needs to be fixed on template and authors should not be able to change it on individual pages.

Impersonate user is SSO enabled portal rajeev_yadav - Adobe Experience Manager
I am trying to create a portal/website with SSO authentication. In this portal, I want to provide impersonate user option for certain users. Is there any OOTB servlet/service available in AEM which can be directly used or extended. Also, what is the recommended approach to achieve this feature.

Re: Restrict Template types to specific projects rajeev_yadav - Adobe Experience Manager
Hi @smacdonald2008I know we can restrict the templates that are available when creating any page in any of the path. My question is regarding restricting the template types when trying to create templates. But all the template types from all projects are getting displayed when trying to configure any template. It would have been better if we only see relevant template types when configuring templates.

AEM 6.3 and Adobe Launch Integration rajeev_yadav - Adobe Experience Manager
I don't see cloud services or IMS option in AEM 6.3 to integrate with Adobe Launch. Does AEM 6.3 provides any option to integrate Launch or else the only option is to upgrade to AEM 6.4 or else hardcode the js script in template?

Thanks Arun for the confirmation. We are blocking direct /conf access on dispatcher. I was checking this because OOTB permissions on /conf is set to deny all for everyone. Thanks,Rajeev

Editable Templates - Access on /conf for anonymous user rajeev_yadav - Adobe Experience Manager
Hi All,I am trying to develop site using editable templates. These works fine with logged in user on publish but when trying to access the site using anonymous user, page content is not rendered properly. I found out that on giving read permission for anonymous user on /conf folder resolves this issue. I want to check if this is a good idea/best practice to provide read access on /conf for anonymous user or is there any better approach to resolve this issue? Thanks,Rajeev

Re: Help article on handlebars integration? rajeev_yadav - Adobe Experience Manager
Thanks Arun.I will prefer library so that JS & html are separated. Response data is complex and therefore having html template would be a better choice.json2html seems to be too raw and basic api compared handlebar. Thanks for the pointers. I will try to integrate handlebar using custom clientlib and see if I encounter any issues during this process. Thanks,Rajeev

Below is the scenario.. $.ajax({ type: 'GET', url: 'test.json', data: { get_param: 'value' }, dataType: 'json', success: function (data) { //1. use any template to convert json response to html block //2. Set the response on page(this can be done using jquery once html block is available from template. }); } });

Hi Arun,I want to render json response received from ajax using any templating language. I think we can't call sightly template from ajax success method and handlebar could come to rescue here. I want to pass json response to handlebar template and then render converted html on page. Thanks,Rajeev

Re: OSGI R6 servlet paths list property rajeev_yadav - Adobe Experience Manager
Hi Jorg,Below is the use case:We have two identical forms with slight differences. We want to call same servlet from both the forms. Both forms will use the common code in servlet and then will execute separate logic based on from which form the request was received. Eg. Form 1 might save data in cookie while form 2 may skip the logic of setting cookie. Now in this case how can we map submit button click to servlet with resourcetype? I think path is the only option irrespective of whether the req...
