I have just received a new laptop from my company. Of course they had to reinstall everything for me. The version of CS3 that they have installed has lost my LiveCycle installation. Our support people seem to be right on the ball. Can anyone tell me which CS3 package has LiveCycle?

Paul,Like always you are a great asset to these forums. Thank you but I have one more question to add to this. I just put in the button and the code that was created was xfa.host.print(1, "0", (xfa.host.numPages -1).toString(), 0, 1, 0, 0, 0);So based on what your telling me, to print from pages 16 to 24 I would put inxfa.host.print(1, "0", (xfa.host.numPages -1).toString(), 16, 24, 0, 0, 0);?

I have come out here in the past and been able to get some really great help. I hope that it continues. I have a 26 page document that has a 9 page form in it. I would like to be able to put a print button in that automatically sets it up to print just the form. Can someone please tell me it this can be done? Thank you.

I have gotten to the point where I am giving myself a headache. I have created a form that is working exactly the way I need it to now. Our department has decided that we need to be 508 compliant on this form, as the first to then go back and fix. I have realized that "PDF Structure" is blank with no tags. I can not figure out for the life of me, how to set these up. Can someone please help me?Tim Henderson

Ok, I like to think that I am able to understand the basic items in this program. That being said, there are small parts that would make me pull my hair out, if I had hair. I have a form that I have finished up. At the bottom of the form there is a line that says if you have any questions please call or email this address: janelle.jensen@state.sd.us , there is nothing else after the address other then a print button a bit lower on the page. As you know, Adobe reader will automatically change thi...

From what I have seen you need to go under the Advanced menu in Adobe Professional and choose Enable Usage Rights in Adobe Reader.

Thank you for that information. To make sure I am understanding correctly, While the message pops up with the radio buttons right away, the messages for the fields will not come up till the form is saved or sent.

Setting required fields in a PDF form
Avatar

I am going to start this by saying I figure this has got to be something I am doing wrong. I have created a form in LiveCycle Designer that has many fields that are set as required. I also have radio buttons that are required. I am able to set up a warning message that the field is required that pops up if a choice is not made. I would like to have this feature for my text fields as well, but for some reason they do not seam to work. Can anyone give me any suggestions?
