Re: Asset Share Commons vs Brand Portal a74048191r - Adobe Experience Manager
I'd recommend reading through the links in the original answer and then decide from there. External access is probably only one of many things to consider.

Re: Asset Share Commons vs Brand Portal a74048191r - Adobe Experience Manager
External partners can contribute to assets to Asset Share provided they have a login to your author instance and access to your DAM folders. I believe something similar is required for Brand Portal. In our case, we went with Asset Share because of the ability to customize the look and feel and functionality.

try this:Value[] values = pageNodes.getProperty("cq:tags").getValues(); then iterate as needed for (Value value : values) { Tag tag = tagManager.resolve(value.getString()); }

Re: Asset - Scheduled Activate vs Publish? a74048191r - Adobe Experience Manager
Thanks! I noticed when I schedule a publish/unpublish, a workflow instance for 'Scheduled Page/Asset Deactivation' gets created and the asset gets published/unpublished. A workflow doesn't get created if I schedule a (de)activation. Additionally the (de)activation wasn't working until I enabled the 'On-/OffTime reached' trigger on the author replication agent. So I'm just looking for another confirmation the two methods are synonymous.

Asset - Scheduled Activate vs Publish? a74048191r - Adobe Experience Manager
What's the difference between scheduling a (de)activation of an asset and scheduling an publish/unpublish of an asset? Why would an author want to use one option over the other since they appear to do the same thing? Thanks!

Re: Reading recorded events via Query in AEM 6.5 a74048191r - Adobe Experience Manager
We have custom reporting on our Asset Share implementation. You should be able to do something like this:capture Asset Share download events and user on publish instances and create custom audit log entriespull and merge these entries from all publish instances over to your author instance under /etc/somepathschedule a query to run like: SELECT * FROM [cq:AuditEvent] AS s WHERE ISDESCENDANTNODE([/etc/somepath]) and s.[jcr:primaryType]=('cq:AuditEvent') and s.[cq:type] = 'DOWNLOADED';

Re: Scaffolding - Create Page Names on Rollout? a74048191r - Adobe Experience Manager
I'd like to add an author field that accepts a value for the pagename, but I can't figure out what name to use in the scaffold. It's for an Arabic site, so the chars in the title are getting converted to underscores on rollout (e.g. _____.html). I guess the other question would be if it is possible to save Arabic chars in the pagename?

Scaffolding - Create Page Names on Rollout? a74048191r - Adobe Experience Manager
I have a product catalog where on rollout, the authored jcr:title (below) is getting used to create both the page name (e.g. pagename.html) and title of the new page. I'm trying to create a different field to author a page name separate from the title but haven't been able to figure out what to use in the xml. Is this possible in a rollout process? I'm finding that on rollout, special chars in the jcr:title value are getting converted to underscores in the page name - probably since page names a...

@mirza_akram is the filter file using /glob matchers for the extensions like this?/0041 { /type "allow" /glob "* *.css *" } # enable css if so, try this:/0041 { /type "allow" /extension "css" } # enable css if that fixes the issue, the glob matchers for all the extensions can be replaced with:/0010 { /type "allow" /extension '(css|eot|gif|ico|jpeg|jpg|js|gif|pdf|png|svg|swf|ttf|woff|woff2|html)' /path "/content/*" } ## disable this rule to allow mapped content only

Copying Products/Catalogs a74048191r - Adobe Experience Manager
I have a working catalog and products for region A. An author can manually add content directly to the product page generated from the catalog rollout. Region B wants to use region A's product pages/catalog and product data as a starting point for their catalog. I've copied region A's product data and generated catalog pages to folders for region B, and updated all references to region A in the product pages/catalog properties to region B (e.g. cq:productMaster, productData), but on the first ro...

Re: How to maintain catalogs in multiple languages? a74048191r - Adobe Experience Manager
Yes - Thanks for the follow-up. I'm good for now. I tried accessing the webinar through the playback link on your page, but it didn't seem to work. I was able to find it at https://helpx.adobe.com/experience-manager/kt/eseminars/ask-the-expert/atace-index.html

How to maintain catalogs in multiple languages? a74048191r - Adobe Experience Manager
I have a product catalog that needs to be available in multiple languages. The initial language is working correctly and it seems that new folders for new translated product data need to be created and manually maintained. Is this the right way to handle this? Thanks!
