Re: Touch dialog multifield nodes rename after dialog save - Adobe Experience Manager 20-10-2020
Depending on the extent of what needs to be updated, try writing a utility servlet that 1) reads your 6.1 ordered nodes into an array - item0, item2, item1. 2) deletes the nodes in the repository then 3) reads the nodes from the array and saves them back to the repository as item0, item1, item2. You could accept parameters such as page name, resourceType, node name to have some control over what's getting updated. You would run this once to prep your data for the 6.5 migration Thanks!

Cloud Manager - dispatcher config deploy for different environments - Adobe Experience Manager 06-08-2020
Our current setup has a set of dispatcher config files for our stage environment (only stage domains, rewrites, etc), and a different set for our prod environment. In moving over to the Cloud Manager for deployments, it looks like we only get one subdirectory/module for the dispatcher. Does this mean we need to merge these two different sets of configs together?

Re: Asset Share Commons vs Brand Portal - Adobe Experience Manager 03-08-2020
I'd recommend reading through the links in the original answer and then decide from there. External access is probably only one of many things to consider.

Re: Asset Share Commons vs Brand Portal - Adobe Experience Manager 03-08-2020
External partners can contribute to assets to Asset Share provided they have a login to your author instance and access to your DAM folders. I believe something similar is required for Brand Portal. In our case, we went with Asset Share because of the ability to customize the look and feel and functionality.

Re: Sling Model Multivalue Page level property reading - Adobe Experience Manager 08-06-2020
try this:Value[] values = pageNodes.getProperty("cq:tags").getValues(); then iterate as needed for (Value value : values) { Tag tag = tagManager.resolve(value.getString()); }

Re: Asset - Scheduled Activate vs Publish? - Adobe Experience Manager 04-06-2020
Thanks! I noticed when I schedule a publish/unpublish, a workflow instance for 'Scheduled Page/Asset Deactivation' gets created and the asset gets published/unpublished. A workflow doesn't get created if I schedule a (de)activation. Additionally the (de)activation wasn't working until I enabled the 'On-/OffTime reached' trigger on the author replication agent. So I'm just looking for another confirmation the two methods are synonymous.

Asset - Scheduled Activate vs Publish? - Adobe Experience Manager 03-06-2020
What's the difference between scheduling a (de)activation of an asset and scheduling an publish/unpublish of an asset? Why would an author want to use one option over the other since they appear to do the same thing? Thanks!

Re: Reading recorded events via Query in AEM 6.5 - Adobe Experience Manager 20-05-2020
We have custom reporting on our Asset Share implementation. You should be able to do something like this:capture Asset Share download events and user on publish instances and create custom audit log entriespull and merge these entries from all publish instances over to your author instance under /etc/somepathschedule a query to run like: SELECT * FROM [cq:AuditEvent] AS s WHERE ISDESCENDANTNODE([/etc/somepath]) and s.[jcr:primaryType]=('cq:AuditEvent') and s.[cq:type] = 'DOWNLOADED';
