Re: Customer Attributes - Naming Conventions/Adding Columns - Adobe Target 23-08-2021
It can be same or different. Target always merge with the primary key that you selected. If it find a match of an existing entry it merge the record else it will add as new record Hope this answer both of the scenarios

Re: Nissan - High CPU Usage Issue - Adobe Experience Manager 26-09-2019
CPU might be due to alot of replication happening from Author to publish while many of the request hitting your publish instance as well.In some cases i saw 404 (on a highly traffic page) may also end up hitting publisher.A good starter to debug this issue will be request log and thread dumps...Try to find the slow requests from request log.Check for slow queries and see if you create oak index for those queries taking more time.

Below is reply from Adobe day care"The Thread Dumps show approx. 195 GET requests running concurrently on the Publish instance.A high number of these requests are getting a XX-barcelona.jpg file, but the requested paths are not starting with /content/dam as we could expect:404 GET /content/XX/XX/content/dam/images/XX-barcelona.jpg404 GET /content/XX/XX/content/dam/images/renditions/XX-barcelona.jpg/jcr:content/renditions/rendition.XX.XX.jpg404 GET /content/XX/XX/images/chat-XX.jpg404 GET /conten...

Re: 404 for an image can bring down the publisher? - Adobe Experience Manager 22-01-2019
Haven't see any out of memory error or CPU high utilization. The only think i noticed that time is there are lot of request to that image to publisher( which supposed to serve from dispatcher but due to wrong url which lead to 404) . Thats why i took thread dumps rather than heapdump.I was surprised to see that 404 hits to publisher can bring down the publisher

Re: 404 for an image can bring down the publisher? - Adobe Experience Manager 20-01-2019
I observed the CPU utilization of the publisher during that time and all are at 40-50% Observed Mem usage and it hovering around 65-70 during that time.We have mitigation for DDOS attack but those are on page view levels . Its hard to place some mechanism on fetching resource type of image. The thread dumps shows me that these are waiting for fetching those image.Once i place a deny rule in dispatcher for those 404 images the system back to normal.
