Hi Hodmi, thanks a lot for these insides. This is obviously a manual process, right? I'm afraid we need the API support as most of our AEMM synchronisation is done via workflows.Any ideas around when we can expect the API update? Any chance this is going to be available for AEM 6.1 SP2?Cheers,Matthias

Hi guys,Currently the DPS framework provides classes like DPSArticle, DPSBanner and DPSCollection. But dynamic banners are not supported. What is the recommended way to integrate dynamic banners into AEM Author? Are there any feature packs to add support?Cheers,Matthias

Hi,I very much second this request! It's a very common scenario. In our project the customer has complex Layout&Designs and we integrate with AEM.To be able to test before production we want to set up a staging of (at least) PreProd and Prod projects on AEM Mobile cloud. This way we could test in a separate project and keep the production content clean.@Adobe:Could you please provide a way to copy configurations, layout&designs and others from one cloud project to another?Cheers,Matthias

Hi guys,I'm facing a problem with aemm dev tool's simulator.I followed the documentation about Using the AEM Mobile Developer Tool, installed an iOS simulator, created a project and started the simulator with "aemm run ios".It then tells me: No target specified for emulator. Deploying to iPhone-6s, 10.0 simulatorThe simulator opens up, the Preflight app tries to load right after start-up but fails and I'm back on the home screen. The following is added to the mytest.sim.console.log:Oct 24 22:00:0...

Hi Nathan, Hi Bob,thanks for sharing your thoughts. You're both right. I unpublished, republished and tested both: an orphaned article and an article within a "orphaned collection" that is not part of the app structure. On Preflight: Linking to both articles works fine.On Android app: I still get the "download failed" error for pure orphaned articles. But linking to the article within the orphaned collection works like a charm. You might consider the download failed error of orphaned articles a bu...

Hi Bob,unfortunately, I don't. Using the "Hide from Browse Page" makes the article still available via swipe. I don't consider this completely hidden, as the user can stumble upon it by accident. We basically aim to show the hidden article only if the user triggers a certain action (link) on another article. Is this possible? Do articles not added to a collection even get published properly?Cheers,Matthias

Hyperlink to completely hidden articles

Hi guys,I was wondering if it is possible to publish an article that is completely hidden and can only be access via a navto link. By completely hidden I mean the user has no other change then using the hyperlink to get to the page, e.g. neither accessible via browsing the page of a collection nor swiping between articles will bring up the hidden article. My first approach was to not assign the hidden article to a collection but publish it. Then I added another article, assigned it to the top-lev...

Hi Thejus,Thanks for this idea. But I'm afraid I don't quite understand. Please provide more details. When you say "cordova enabled article" do you mean the property "Enable extensibility features" on articles? We enabled this. What do you mean with "generic collections can be restricted"?Cheers,Matthias

Hi guys,Quick question towards Android and iOS apps generated by the cloud platform.Does AEM Mobile support getting access to the source code of these apps?At the moment I don’t see a way other then reverse engineering the app via decompiling the .apk or .ipa file. But I doubt this is the official way.Cheers,Matthias

Hi Bob,yes, I played around with Browse Page and Content View mode of collections and came to the same conclusion: It needs an entitled collection to hold the article. No good UX, indeed. How about the product's feature road map?Are entitled articles going to be supported by AEM Mobile sooner or later?Cheers,Matthias

Hi Bob,thanks a lot for getting back so quickly.Your banner approach sounds interesting but it's more about having two articles as children of the root collection "default". The content structure would be something like:- default-- Collection 1--- Article 1 [article]--- Article 2 [article]--- ...-- Collection 2--- ...-- Article 3-- Article 4The goal is to have the following entitled entries in the menu:- Collection 1- Collection 2- Article 3- Article 4Can this also be achieved with the banner ap...

Hi Neil, your response to this question is more then one year old now. Did the entitlement of articles got added to the feature set?We have the requirement to entitle articles on top-level. The goal is to see the article in the navigation but only if you are entitled to.Cheers,Matthias
