please share the logs from eclipse's AEM/Sling console

check the version of maven-bundle-plugin (should be 4.1.0) or bnd plugin (should be 4.1) is the root cause?  Archetype 17 should have generated R7 versions but no harm in validating the effective pom/versions

check AEM console logs in eclipse or error.log of your AEM server.Validate the server configuration in eclipse to rule out any modifications

I would setup new instance with binaryless and then use package manager/crx2oak/rsync or a similar tool to port the content/assets to the new instance.

Not sure but you could set it up from scratch to avoid this. Why would you copy/paste both individual datastore in this shared one?

Could you please explain your use case? What kind of event do you want to create?

6.2 uses old version of OAK API than 6.4. In addition to that, 6.2 uses '.cfg' extension for configuration files but 6.4 uses '.config' extension. I doubt that it would work.Better approach would be to upgrade/migrate 6.2 to 6.4 and then set up shared datastore.
