Re: Delay the Adobe Analytics call (after AJAX data is returned) - Dynamic Tag Management 15-10-2015
Alexis,Could this method impact bounce rate since there will be 2 image calls? I did this setup on one of our sites and suddenly my bounce rate is in the low single digits. I'm not buying it.Thanks!Chad

Re: Time parting - Rule Builder - RegEx - Dynamic Tag Management 15-10-2015
Thanks Jez. I decided to use a custom script data element and get the output to be what I needed it to be. Works just as well. Thanks again. I appreciate you reaching out.cs

Time parting - Rule Builder - RegEx - Dynamic Tag Management 15-10-2015
hello,I have a data element in DTM to capture the current time. I would like to set up a classification rule to take the time and classify by half hour. For example, it would take 12:53PM and classify it as 12:30PM. That is, the time stamp was within that half hour. Not a regex expert here and it seems like that would be the best way to avoid building the classification in excel. Can anyone help? Thanks!Chad

Re: DTM | Data layer fires after DOM ready - Dynamic Tag Management 15-10-2015
Jeff,The entire data layer does not populate after the load event on every page. Some of the data layer is loaded earlier and is being collected just fine. We have a content side of the site (CQ) and a commerce side. The commerce side seems to create the data layer variables and pass them ok. The CQ side does not.Chad

Jeff,If we implement this way, would we run the risk of double tracking on the page? chad

DTM | Data layer fires after DOM ready - Dynamic Tag Management 15-10-2015
In our DTM implementation, we're using an old hosted s_code alongside DTM. We're using a data layer throughout the site, but on our CQ (content) side, the data layer population is based on an AJAX call that doesn't happen until DOM Ready - by that time, DTM has already fired. My pageload rule is capturing everything on our commerce side without incident, but the CQ side will not pass the data in the data layer. We tried delaying the pageBottom call, but that just created 2 image requests. Moving ...

DTM not capturing variables set on page - Dynamic Tag Management 15-10-2015
We have a website that we are migrating to DTM and have decided not to move all the variable-setting page code into DTM. For example: s.prop14 = s.eVar12 = !s.prop14 && window['readCookie'] && readCookie("ouid") || s.prop14; // Assume current user has the same account as before s.eVar58 = window['readCookie'] && readCookie("ut") || ""; For some reason, DTM does not want to process that information. It appears to be skipping anything that is an s object outside the s_code that is hosted within DTM. Has anyone seen this before or can anyone offer any thoughts as to why it isn't setting those variables that are in the page code? Thanks,Chad
