HI ASFAIK .. there is no specifc tool for exporting the namespce. you can go to http://localhost:4502/crx/explorer/ui/namespace_editor.jsp and see all namespaces, you might wanty to use small JS script to extract those namespaces and print them into a nice CND. once you get the CND, you can use the import node type (/crx/explorer/nodetypes/index.jsp) and paste the CND's. this should work for you..sample script - please test. (function(){ var namespacesCnd = ""; document.querySelectorAll("#mainTa...

Hi Dilip.. you can store any data in jcr as long as it follows the JCR recommendations. you can use the API to write data which is common. for the path , it is always a good practice to keep ser generated data separate than your project data. But there is no limitations from AEM end, you can put it anywhere. for security you should use the ACL's and dispatcher filters

All these dependencies should already present if not shipped with the bundle jar/package. you can check the stdout log to see the details on why these dependencies are not resolved. in case these dependencies are part of some other bundle package, please ensure the other bundle should get started first, you can control it via start-up level of the bundle.

Hi Denny, flush send a GET HTTP request with content path in its header. to make it path specific .. as explaind above post. create a user whihc has access for the path (/content/my-site/templates) not for anything else, configure this user under agent ID. This will let the all other path fail while reading via dispatcher flush agent user. and only the relevent path will be invaladated.

you can use various ways via code using java JCR API----Node root = getJcrSession().getRootNode(); String path = getFacetPath( repositoryId, facetId, name ); if ( root.hasNode( path ) ) { Node node = root.getNode( path ); do { // also remove empty container nodes Node parent = node.getParent(); node.remove(); node = parent; } while ( !node.hasNodes() ); } } catch ( RepositoryException e ) { throw new MetadataRepositoryException( e.getMessage(), e ); }---------------

Hi The /bin folder is an empty one, and it does not contain any node default from AEM. It is given for the custom development just in case some developer wants to use it for there servlet. hence no security issue from default AEM perspective. But if you are planning to use it and add some stuff in it for internal use, you can block it on the dispatcher. else you can leave it as it does not contain anything. Thx, Anuj

Hi Kiran,You need to use the JCR queries to fetch the data in the backend class , I have noy tried by myself but you can use the queries to get you the desired results with regular expression. for example - "WHERE ISDESCENDANTNODE(s,'/content/*/en/*/product')" Query Builder API

Just make sure you are using coral3 UI properly. Sling:resource type seems old one. but not sure, you may want to cross verify. DatePicker — Granite UI 1.0 documentation

You might be missing secret key in s3 datastore.config Try to add the key value pair (secret="somerandomvalue") in org.apache.jackrabbit.oak.plugins.blob.datastore.SharedS3DataStore.config This file should be same across all the aem connecting to the S3 bucket. It should resolve your issue.

The path is seems incorrect, you need check the pom.xml file for the server settings. you can find the details [1] if you are trying to deploy directly provided .jar file , in system console. you need to treat it as simple package and put in maven project and follow standard installation approach. This is correct behavior.When you delete from console a workflow get triggered internally and first it de-activate the assets from publish and than removes it from the author.you can see the delete "POST" call in the replication agents.>> POST /bin/receive HTTP/1.0>> Action: DeleteFrom crx/de it is hard deletion and the internal process did not get trigger.

You can simply use, request for activation workflow. and modify the approver step to add the correct/right approvers. If you need more than 1 approvals, you can add as many approval steps as you need in it and define the next steps as per your need.

dispatcher flush listeners get triggered when a replication/publish request get initiated. In your case no activation, hence no dispatcher flush. You need to publish the page after XF change to get cache updated or write your own listeners.

Is this query string relevant to make a decision if this user is allowed to access that resource? Is there a case, that with “?intcmp=true" the user is allowed to access the resource and with any other not? If a user has read access to a resource he can access that resource.So if you use the resource-based approach of AEM in the right way, you should never come into that situation where this query string is required to determine if read access should be allowed. And then adding the query string ...
