if you try to upload a new thumbnail image on editable template this image gets corrupted and get saved .sftmp file. The workaround is to remove the file extension .sftmp and image will start loading fine. This was known issue and fixed on AEM 6.4

So when you create a launch below is node structure for launches gets set. You should see all the launches under /content/launches//// and you should be able to see the launch date in /content/launches/////jcr:content "livedata" property. So when you edited there would be two launch name jobs, hence two promotion happened. To disable one of them you can safely move the launchname to tmp to disable them.

You can do the following way:Azure Data StoreAEM can be configured to store data in Microsoft's Azure storage service. It uses the org.apache.jackrabbit.oak.plugins.blob.datastore.AzureDataStore.config PID for configuration. In order to enable the Azure data store functionality, a feature pack containing the Azure Connector needs to be downloaded and installed. Go to the Adobe Repository and download the latest version from the 1.6.x versions of the feature pack (for example, com.adobe.granite.oa...

The issue has been fixed in release 2.0.8 of the core components . For this you would need to install AEM AEM 6.3 + SP2( 6.3.2.0) and the 2.0.8 core components package. The official dependencies for core components is listed in [1]You can download the core component 2.0.8 package from [2].[1] https://github.com/Adobe-Marketing-Cloud/aem-core-wcm-components/blob/master/README.md[2] https://github.com/Adobe-Marketing-Cloud/aem-core-wcm-components/releases/tag/core.wcm.components.reactor-2.0.8

Yes, you can achieve this by have multiple experiences for custom segments you have created for it. Use Context hub as targeting engine which will resolve the segments and shows the experience. You can leverage below URL.Configuring ContextHub Also, you can use Adobe Target as well as for resolving the segments, if the Context hub is not the option you want to go for.
