Re: AEM inside a external mobile app Ken_Beaton - Adobe Experience Manager Mobile
Hi,This is a great question and I would love to see what you're building. You have a couple options depending on what you are trying to accomplish. Likely the best option is that you create articles in AEM and publish them directly to your mobile application through ContentSync (appCache) that is part of the AEM Apps in AEM (not to be confused with AEM Mobile). In AEM 6.3 Structured Content Fragments was introduced and made available through PackageShare, you can create content under Assets now a...

Re: Error with brand image Ken_Beaton - Adobe Experience Manager Mobile
Hi Jared, we have strict rules for what type of images we support (.jpg and .png) with specific size constraints for brand image. I'm not entirely sure why the button would be disabled if you have sufficient permissions to edit the project. Can you reach out to Adobe Support with your publication ID and we can take a look.

Re: Unpublished articles appearing in search results Ken_Beaton - Adobe Experience Manager Mobile
Hi RichinZ,When you un-publish an article from the AEM Mobile portal it will not show up in the search results once the viewer has been refreshed (pull to refresh or pill). Can you please re-verify this is the case and that there are no other copies of the article published, if this issue persists please reach out to Adobe Support. (note: Scott is talking about the AEM integration with AEM Mobile, which is not related to the issue you're hitting here).

Re: ERROR ITMS-90062 Ken_Beaton - Adobe Experience Manager Mobile
Hi Joanie,It sounds like you haven't updated your app version before pushing to the AppStore. Essentially the AppStore is saying you have a newer version number already uploaded - so there is a conflict. Specifically it looks like you are trying to replace 1.3.9 with 1.0.15, which is an older version.Cheers.

Re: View content only in top-level collection? Ken_Beaton - Adobe Experience Manager Mobile
Hi JoSchro,Let's say you have a number of articles and collections within your topLevelPhoneContent collection. Then collections within that topLevelPhoneContent collection have, either articles and/or collections as children. In your case, let's say you have a topLevelPhoneContent collection 'A' that itself contains article 'B' and collection 'B' (2 items). When you tap on the 'hamburger' button to open the slide-out menu and select collection 'B' you see a browse page - correct? Does collectio...

Re: View content only in top-level collection? Ken_Beaton - Adobe Experience Manager Mobile
Hi JoSchro,You simply need to move an article to the first item in a top-level collection. In your navigation rail, click on 'Collections', select your 'topLevelPhoneContent' then click 'Edit Content in Collection'. From here you can see on the right the ability to drag and drop articles and collections that are within your topLevelPhoneContent (or TabletContent). Make sure the top item is your article and then don't forget to publish and/or preflight your changes.Cheers.

Re: How to use existing content for mobile apps in AEM Ken_Beaton - Adobe Experience Manager
If you're building a mobile application using Adobe PhoneGap Enterprise, check out Bruce Lefebvre's kitchen sink sample on github.com: https://github.com/blefebvre/aem-phonegap-kitchen-sink. This sample makes use of a previous version of the the Adobe PhoneGap ContentSync plugin (https://github.com/phonegap/phonegap-plugin-contentsync) to pull ContentSync zip files from the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) publish server based on timestamps (get only the latest up-to-date content). He'll be migrat...

Re: Creating a mobile application via Touch UI Ken_Beaton - Adobe Experience Manager
Hi Alex,In the AEM6 Mobile Feature Pack (FP1) hosted on Package Share [4], we removed the ability to create an app from within the Apps catalog view. We expect users will leverage the kickstart apps we've posted on github [0] to learn and create custom new apps. The expected workflow is to copy (or fork) one of the kickstarts and using Maven, deploy into your local (or remote) instance of the AEM6 (FP1) quickstart using the command line, "mvn clean install -PautoInstallPackage" (see the readme w...
