If you want to send event based data to Adobe Analytics you can use the data insertion APIs. It is an alternate way of sending event data to AA without using the javascript or client side beacons. The data insertion APIs do not require creating any data source. You can refer to examples here - https://github.com/AdobeDocs/analytics-1.4-apis/blob/master/docs/data-insertion-api/sample_code/r_sample_http_post.md And here is an example of data source API - https://github.com/AdobeDocs/analytics-1.4-...

Summarize the migrate steps here: 1. Stop the running env on Windows 2. Compress the whole instance install folder. 3. Transfer the compress file to target Linux server. 4. Uncompress package 5. Download crx2oak jar file. 6. Run jar file to migrate.

In this use case you can leverage AEM DAM as an podcast asset management solution. You can use AEM DAM features like metadata, renditions, taxonomy, search and filter on podcast asset objects. I would say if there are many podcasts then it makes sense to use AEM DAM as using DAM the business users will be able to manage and find their podcasts easily. And think about creating a distribution workflow using which the business users can review and approve the podcasts before they are distributed to...

@sravs508 In addition to the details shared by Kunal, you can reference the below link for Content Transfer Tool which mentions the considerations for content transfer and 'File Data store' can be used with it.https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-cloud-service/moving/cloud-migration/content-transfer-tool/using-content-transfer-tool.html?lang=en#pre-reqsFor guidelines and best practices like calculating minimum disk space needed in source instance, revision clean up, etc., r...

In classic UI, the only option is to write some listener or JS logic to achieve this. One option I can think of is that you remove default required field validator in classic UI and write a custom JS validator to validate the fields based on the path of the page. But in this case all properties will be shown to the user but not all will be mandatory. However, it will be less complex than removing properties from the dialog. In touch UI, you should be able to achieve this easily with custom grani...

@Adobe-Chad Yes you can add the tags to all topics in bulk. When you open the map for generating an output you will see a topics tab in the UI. In topics tab you will see all the topics listed inside the map. Just select all the topics and click on "Apply Tag" button in the menu bar. This way you can apply tags in bulk to all or selected multiple topics.

In case2, the SPA page itself will not contain any content in the source as it just includes basic skeleton page markup only. All other components on the page are rendered by the JavaScript code. The JS code makes calls to JSON endpoints in AEM to fetch the data of the components included on the page. So it is recommended you cache those JSONs along with the SPA pages markup.

@parag_dalal You should see those fields only when you integrate AEM and Target using Adobe I/O only. If the integration method is same then just check your AEM installation and find out if any of packages are in uninstalled state. Also, see if the number of bundles in both instances are same and in active state. https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-65/administering/integration/experience-fragments-target.html?lang=en#prerequisites

Yes you can even use Bootstrap 4/5 as well. There is no such constraint in AEM to use any CSS framework. It is only that you will not be able to compile the SASS files directly inside AEM and you will have to deploy compiled libraries. You can use external front end development workflow and use tools like webpack for compilation and building AEM compatible client libraries.

Yes you will have to write some backend code for getting request attributes. I would recommend that you write a generic backend class which can be used for fetching any request attribute. You can refer to following example - http://www.6dglobal.com/blog/accessing-request-variables-sightly-2015-01-23

That was my initial understanding that you would be keeping the common code in separate org git repo though I assumed you would sync it to a folder in brands' adobe git repo. In this case when it is not synced to brand's repo, I'm assuming you would upload common code (jar & zip) to a maven repository and add it's dependency.

I tried using a similar query parameter as you defined above: "sling:resourceType":'commerce/components/product' but was unable to get any results with that simple evaluation. Has anyone created or used a similar query parameter to only evaluate if a file is a primary object within commerce?

You're right, Kunal. We no longer sell AEM Communities licenses. However, there are non-Adobe solutions available that you can explore to implement as a standalone community platform or integrate and bring communities elements into AEM site pages. Most of them offer third-party integration through REST APIs. For example, you can look at Disqus for commenting, and Khoros or Telligent for elaborate social and community elements. And, for blogs without commenting feature, you could also consider no...

Yes, you are correct about calling streaming segmentation. With this capability, most segment rules can be evaluated and qualified. See this: https://docs.adobe.com/content/help/en/experience-platform/segmentation/api/streaming-segmentation.html for more details. Once you have developed, tested, and saved your segment definition, you can then evaluate the segment through either scheduled evaluation or on-demand evaluation.Scheduled evaluation (also known as 'scheduled segmentation') allows you t...

This works for testing, but not for a long term solution. We need to use this form to make the post request within the iframe itself in AEM. Adding the path to the list of URLs that do not require authentication seems like the best option for now

I'd recommend reading through the links in the original answer and then decide from there. External access is probably only one of many things to consider.
