I just  installed the generated apk file on my device by just double tapping on the downloaded file. I don't see any issues and can browse all the content in the application.

Change the log level to DEBUG in the agent settings and see if you can find any clue in the logs then. I tested it on 6.1 and for me it works fine. 

It returns null because the path " /content/my-cq-page/jcr:content" represent cq:PageContent object and not the "cq:Page" object.
