Performance wise:An Image on the Fly:If there are multiple images on a page and all are images on the fly these request hitting the publisher will certainly have an impact. The LinkedIn has to support a service do so. If it is available you can certainly do it via services in AEM. You should be posting this question to LinkedIn help forum if they have any external service to import content/ add content from other systems.
