Re: Push Notifications on Android are not working andrei_k - Adobe Experience Manager Mobile
Hi Michael, the Adobe support team is still investigating this issue. They said that the Push Notifications are working fine on live apps (installed from the Play Store). However, they are not working for side loaded apps (development APK). In your description, it seems you didn't install the app through the Play Store and it still worked.I'm very curious what could be different in your case. I followed your steps exactly as you outlined, trying with our existing app, as well as creating a brand...

No, not yet resolved. I've tried to set this up many times and have not had any luck. An Adobe technical support consultant is looking at our APK build. I'll update you once we hear back. Please let me know if you find a solution as well.

Re: Push Notifications on Android are not working andrei_k - Adobe Experience Manager Mobile
Michael, thank you very much for the detailed steps. I also noticed that documentation was recently updated:https://helpx.adobe.com/digital-publishing-solution/help/push-notifications.html#push-androidHowever, I am still unable to get notifications to work. I tried it on our existing app, as well as creating a brand new project to test on, as you outlined above. I downloaded the latest Signing Tool and re-created the .p12 file to eliminate the possibility that I'm using outdated parts.Every time...

Push Notifications on Android are not working andrei_k - Adobe Experience Manager Mobile
Has anyone been successful at getting push notifications to work on Android? The Adobe instructions seem to be out of date because Google has since switched from Google Developer Console to Firebase.https://helpx.adobe.com/digital-publishing-solution/help/push-notifications.html#push-androidWe followed the steps on Firebase to generate the "google-services.json" file and built the app with "Android Push Notifications" enabled in the AEM Mobile dashboard. We updated the Push Credentials in the AEM...

Re: "pause" and "resume" events are not executing on Android andrei_k - Adobe Experience Manager Mobile
I determined a workaround to this problem. Although "pause" and "resume" are not fired on Android, the "visibilitychange" event is triggered when the app goes into the background/foreground.You can use:document.addEventListener("visibilitychange", myFunction, false);Inside myFunction function, you can then check the value of document.visibilityState, (it's either "visible" or "hidden") and proceed accordingly.Note that the "visibilitychange" event does not fire when the app goes in the backgroun...

Re: Event when dynamic banner is visible andrei_k - Adobe Experience Manager Mobile
I've been playing around with this some more and discovered a number of things.First of all, it didn't take me long to figure out that I was simply making a syntax error. The correct way to use window.onAppear and window.onDisappear is:window.onAppear = myFunction;myFunction function() { // do something...}However, this is where things got tricky because the behaviour is inconsistent between iOS and Android. My setup includes a collection with a dynamic banner at the top and a bunch of articles ...

Event when dynamic banner is visible andrei_k - Adobe Experience Manager Mobile
Hi everyone,Does anyone know if there is an event for when a dynamic banner is visible? There is mention of custom events: window.onAppear and window.onDisappear in Adobe's documentation.Creating banners and dynamic banners for browse pages But, I get a "this is not a function" error. (I'm including cordova.js and the Dynamic Banner has "enable extensibility features" checked.)

"pause" and "resume" events are not executing on Android andrei_k - Adobe Experience Manager Mobile
I am unable to use "pause" and "resume" events as described here: Events - Apache CordovaMy test article is working as it should on iOS, but not on Android. On iOS, when I leave the app by opening another app, or put my device to sleep, the "pause" event fires and when I come back, the "resume" event fires. None of this happens on Android. My basic requirement is to execute some javascript on an interval. But, it doesn't make sense for the code to run when the app is not in the foreground. Has an...

Re: "mailto:" and "tel:" links do not work in InAppBrowser (Android only) andrei_k - Adobe Experience Manager Mobile
Hi Bruce, I meant to write you earlier...Adobe have fixed the "mailto:" issue with Hot Fix 2017.11.1 (November 9). I still have an open ticket regarding the "tel:" links, but believe this is similar and will be resolved soon. Thanks for your tips. Your last comment actually helped me with another task.

Re: "mailto:" and "tel:" links do not work in InAppBrowser (Android only) andrei_k - Adobe Experience Manager Mobile
Hi Bruce, I have a feeling you are using a .article file to test this. mailto: and tel: links work well for me in Articles. However, in my particular case, I am linking out to an external webpage. I have a Banner that "links" to an "http://" address. When this page is opened with a DeviceBrowser, (such as Chrome), it works fine. However, when this page is opened inside the app, (using AEM InAppBrowser), I get the error.Would you have a chance to upload this code to a server and test using a Bann...

"mailto:" and "tel:" links do not work in InAppBrowser (Android only) andrei_k - Adobe Experience Manager Mobile
I am using Banners to link to web content that contain mailto: and tel: links. On iOS, these links work as they should. However, Android displays an error: "Web page not available net::ERR_UNKNOWN_URL_SCHEME". When the same page is opened using the default Device Browser, the links work fine.I tried to modify the config.xml in the root by adding and . I rebuilt the app using a custom shell with the modified config.xml and appropriate plugins. However, this didn't resolve the problem.I am wonder...
