Hi there! Hmm, I’d check a couple things:1) is the 2nd page on the same domain? 2) is the target server call firing on the 2nd page? You can try the Experience Cloud Debugger to confirm!3) if that’s working, can you set up a simple activity in Target that forces you into test experience? Maybe a 1 experience A/B test? Then you can test that you see the content you expect. I’m guessing that the call isn’t firing on that 2nd page, or there is some targeting set up that is preventing people from ge...

>>@kimenw , can you share some advice around when I should use Auto-Allocate versus a manual A/B test? @Amelia_Waliany sure. In my opinion, it’s pretty simple. You should always use Auto Allocate unless you:a) want to do deep math analysis on the A/B test to really understand the losing experience rather than just the winning experience (most people don’t do this level of stats analysis)b) need to use A4T (but luckily, A4T is coming to auto-allocate next month!) Auto-allocate delivers a winner f...

We often talk about recommendations for products because it’s easy as consumers to think about, but many of our customers use Recommendations for other content like videos, white papers, articles, you name it.

>>@kimenw what are the different ways that custom models/algorithms can be used with Adobe Target for automating personalization driven by specific business needs?Hi again @drewb6915421 !you can do a couple things. You can upload custom algorithms for Recommendations, where you state explicitly what product or article or other item should be shown to a particular user or with another product/article/item. You can also apply business rules on top of Target’s machine learning algorithms to tune th...

No problem @drewb6915421 ! I’d recommend starting on the homepage. Are there a lot of people who have a voice in what shows up there? This can be a good way to ensure the best content is shown to each person, but it still lets those less popular pieces of content get some airtime and find the right audience!

You might also want to write out the profile script into an offer so you can see the value easily as you test it out. Here is some info on it: https://marketing.adobe.com/resources/help/en_US/target/target/r_passing-profile-attributes-to-the-html-offer.html

Oh interesting, it's not actually specific to at.js. Looks like we have it documented in 2 places. You can use it with an mbox.js implementation. Here is the more generic documentation for targetPageParams(): https://marketing.adobe.com/resources/help/en_US/target/ov/c_pass_parameters_to_global_mbox.html

Hi Chris,Only 1 global mbox is supported across your account. You can limit where your activities run by adding URL rules to your activities: https://marketing.adobe.com/resources/help/en_US/target/target/t_temtest.html You could also pass a parameter on the page using targetPageParams() (https://marketing.adobe.com/resources/help/en_US/target/ov2/r_target-atjs-targetpageparams.html) and then select those parameters in that "configure URL" section in the Visual Experience Composer, or by adding ...

Hi Steve,1) the content stored inside the offer is exactly what is returned. No wrapping content of any kind. If you store JSON in the offer, that is what will be returned, with no additional formatting added.2) the rawbox URL usually gets inserted as the source of a page, a frame, or an iframe. Sometimes it's used as the source of a content block inside an email to be sent.3) You dont need to make a mboxCreate call or mboxUpdate call. Instead, the rawbox URL is what fires the call to Target.Doe...

Hi Jessica,Hmm..have you tried adding a final experience to your list of experiences that is acts as a catch-all? Don't apply any targeting on it, and then show default content. That will make sure that users who no longer match the targeting for an experience will fall into that one. You can also reach out to Customer Care and we can look into what is going on - you shouldnt need to create a "catch all" experience. Thanks,Kimen

Hi Jessica,If you're using Target Standard or Premium, then all of the targeting is evaluated on every request, so if a user's cookie changes they will no longer see the test content. If you're using Target Classic, you'll need to make sure you use "mbox targeting" described here: https://marketing.adobe.com/resources/help/en_US/tnt/help/c_Preparing_a_targeted_Campaign_or_Test.htmlHope that helps!Kimen

Ah,sorry, no it's something we have because the way people combine campaigns for analysis is usually really specific to their setup and use case. I think you could use this template as a starting point though since all the lift & confidence calculations are there.I hope that helps a bit!

Re: Why is the the default value of mboxDefault visibility: hidden?
Avatar

The style for mboxDefault is hidden at first so default content doesn't show on the screen before the Target content returns. The response from Target triggers the visibility to change on the mboxDefault div (if no offer response returned), or the mboxDefault div is replaced by the offer content div.Are you making calls out to Target on your localhost and getting responses? If so, then the visibility shouldn't be a problem. -Kimen WarnerGroup Product Manager, Adobe Target

Hi Lukas,To see Customer Attributes in Target, you first have to upload a Customer Attributes file and choose attributes to share to Target. Once you do that, you should see those attributes show up in the "Visitor Profile" list of attributes when you create an audience. Can you try that? Or if I'm misunderstanding could you add a screenshot of what you're looking at?-Kimen

It looks like the Enhanced Experience Composer in Target Standard isn't loading your css files correctly. Do you have the mbox.js code on this page? If you do, can you try disabling the Enhanced Experience Composer? You can do that under Setup->Preferences in Target Standard. We'll look into why your css files aren't loading up correctly and try to fix that on our side as well. Thanks,Kimen Warner, Target product management

Mobile targeting isn't available natively in Target Standard yet. Instead, create a reusable segment in Target Classic (using the links Rahul shared) and then that segment will appear as an Audience in Target Standard automatically. You can then target a test using that audience.Stay tuned for updates on mobile targeting moving into Target Standard--we're working on it!
