In SiteCatalyst:1.iPhone (and possibly other phones) by dimension ‘Mobile Device’ are reported incorrectly. For example a sample report for visits for a few days on our site shows:Apple iPhone 1315685Apple iPhone Simulator 12Apple iPhone 5 3Apple iPhone 4S 1‘Mobile Device’ does recognize versions, but it is not correctly reported. Is this something that can be fixed in SC?2.The dimension Mobile Screen Size is reported as:Apple iPhone: 320 x 480Apple iPhone 5: 640 x 1136Apple iPhone 4S: 640 x 960Fo...

We use browser reports to inform our desktop/mobile web site design and to inform our dev and QA support effort for different browser versions. We are trying to transition from our in house browser reports to SiteCatalyst. One problem I noticed: There are a large number of Safari browser visits which do not have version information. This is both with desktop-macintosh and mobile-iOS.This skews results, since we cant put these safari browsers into their version buckets. Other browsers (e.g. chrome ...

I have some browser reports which I have created with Ad Hoc Analysis (formerly Discover). The reports need to be shared with all the SiteCatalyst users in our company. Some of these reports are multi-dimensional ranked reports, while others are trended reports. The other users who receive these reports should be able to:1. Look at the raw data and be able to modify things like date range.2. Use the report as a starting point for their own analysis.I have looked at exporting the data to Excel, but...

Hi Brian,I did breakdown by specific browser/OS versions. There is definitely a big uptick in bounce rate as well as orders (and other metrics) in Chrome 37 compared to other browser/version combinations. For example IE 11, which is another browser with a large usage on our site, does not show any rise all through. It is as if Chrome 37 implemented something, which causes a rise in most metrics across the board. This is not bad news in itself, only concerned about why this might be happening.Tha...

Hi, We use SiteCatalyst for reporting and Tealium as the tag management system.Recently Google Chrome 37 was released. We see a general uptick in bounce rate, visits, orders, revenue in Chrome 37 as compared to Chrome 36 in SiteCatalyst. It is as if all metrics (negative or positive) are reported in greater numbers. This trend coincides neatly with the Chrome 37 release. It is as if either we just get more traffic due to chrome 37 or something about chrome 37 is causing our tag management javascr...

Hi Nikhil,Thanks for clarifying. Had a related question/request:If I understood correctly, desktop monitor resolution is derived from the screen width x height sent from the browser in the pixel request. For mobile devices, this w x h is ignored while generating the screen sizes dimensions (instead UA inferred device + table based screen sizes are used). The user agent seems to be invalid for most all iPhone requests in our SiteCatalyst data. We are unable to generate a good screen screen size re...

Hi Shekhar,Thanks for responding.I did a comparison of our in-house reporting (which is still turned on in production) and SiteCatalyst reports. In the in-house code, we also use the UA to infer device, os, browser and their versions if available. We use a regex Version/(\S+).*Safari.This matches and returns Safari version for most cases for versions 3.0 and above. Also see http://www.useragentstring.com/pages/Safari/The SiteCatalyst reports however seem to miss this version information. Is this s...
