Re: AEM Forms Training Prerequisites - Adobe Experience Manager Forms 13-10-2016
Hi Rama,Right, I mean not mandatory. The Forms Training assumes you have a basic understanding of AEM -- the concept of Author and Publish, the role of an Author versus a Developer, etc. -- but the rest (including client libs, OSGi bundles) are introduced during the workshop. If you need a deeper understanding (which you probably will) then you will need to revisit AEM training but people should be able to complete the training successfully.

Hi Rama, Yes, Create an Adaptive Form creates an HTML5 version of the form that is responsive. It is created using the web interface in AEM. You create a PDF Form or HTML5 form (also referred to as a mobile form) using AEM Forms Designer (a Windows only development tool that creates an XML/XDP template version of a form or document).Server-side, we have documents services that can read that XML/XDP template version of the form and render it as HTML5 or as PDF (or as PCL/PS). Re: AEM Forms Training Prerequisites - Adobe Experience Manager Forms 13-10-2016
Hi Rama,Having an understanding of the AEM topics you outlined in your original question -- templates, components, OSGi, etc. -- are a nice to have for Forms Training; At a minimum, you can take the FormsTraining with an understanding of the following:1. Adobe Experience Manager 6.2: Authoring Overview (v2)2. Adobe Experience Manager 6.2: Technical Infrastructure Overview3. Front-end Developer Workshop

Hi,That example is out of date. Try this one.Dropbox - Return DOR Custom Submit.zip Also, remember that you need to configure the User Mapper service for this to work as it writes to the repositoryThis article talks about the Service Authentication (Adobe CQ Help | Querying Adobe Experience Manager 6 data using the Sling getServiceResourceResolver method )

Re: AEM Forms - Panel Add / Delete control via Form API - Adobe Experience Manager 29-01-2016
Hi,I am guessing you are trying to add panels to an Adaptive Form. Correct? If so you can add the following function to your client libabries (I have also included a link to the client library package if you want to install that Dropbox - Forum😞function addPanels(num, repeatablePanel) { var iNum = Number(num); var im = repeatablePanel.instanceManager; var iCurrCount = Number(im.instanceCount); while (iNum > iCurrCount) { im.addInstance(); // add Instance checks internally for maxCount so you ne...

Generating a PDF Document From an Adaptive Form Part II - Adobe Experience Manager 19-01-2016
Here is a sample that renders an adaptive form, loads some information into a hidden field on the form via JSON to use as a timestamp and save location. Once the form submits, it will submit to a custom JSP that saves the data, generates a PDF, and then renders that PDF back to the user so they can sign or print this as a document of record.Attached is the package. Below is the JSP to handle the custom submitDropbox - Return DOR Custom Submit.zip<%-- ~ Demo Sample: Gary Thain 01/12/2015 ~ Return...
