I've been wondering if it is possible to separate content from code in such a way that we can containerize the AEM instance with just code (OSGi bundles, templates, components, clientlibraries, etc.) that can be used to quickly spin-up a new (Publisher) instance - or to prepare the next code release - and where content (e.g. pages, assets, data sets) is maintained in a separate layer and available to the new instance.In our experience, cloning an entire Publisher instance takes too much time and...

I did not overcome the issue; for pages we're using an HTTP request in stead of the requestResponseFactory solution.

There's Retrieve the HTML contents of a cq:Page and RequestResponseFactory ("The Adobe AEM Quickstart and Web Application.") ...I'm not trying to get node information, I'm trying to retrieve content (HTML and client libraries).
