You can configure panel to be of multiple columns, that way you can have
multiple fields in a single line, if the space permits otherwise they
will wrap around.Configuration under panel properties:Panel is the only
component you can use for grouping of fields
Hi Devesh,Your form is always saved in portal as draft, irrespective of
your submit action. The scenario you mentioned that there is a form
portal submission with email submit action does not require a custom
submit action, as we give this as an OOTB feature. All you need to do is
in authoring dialog of 'Form Container', check 'Store data in form
portal' along with email submit action:
@Anshika, yes that is a good option. Its good for similar looking
templates. Here it will work as reference, that is, you would only be
able to author (in editor) the original form. The form with 'Use an
existing Adaptive Form' option, is displayed in authoring in non-edit
mode. So it will be a little tough to style the form as per the
template, if that is not the case you may use this option.
Yes, on 6.2 we have removed the changing of template. Here we have
introduced editable templates, which have more power than static
templates (such as components by reference, - defined in structure layer
of editable templates). But if you still wish to change the template of
an already created form, you can do it using crx/de: (though this is not
recommended, and some components might not work, if they depend on page
level configurations)1. Say 'test1' is the form you want to change
'Signature Step' should be the only component in a panel. You should not
have any other field with it. Generally its used in child panel of a
panel having wizard layout, hence the name 'Signature Step'.PS:
Please refer to following
You may want to see 'AEM Forms prefill service' section in it. We have
also introduced Data Integrations in this release, please do check :

validation rule for field B using field A and vice versa. We currently
have support for revalidation of whole form, not individual fields. This

Hello Salvatore, try prefixing ?wcmmode=disabled to your URL. That should
fix the issue. In Author environment of AEM, default wcmmode is 'edit',
whereas in publish mode of AEM, default value of wcmmode is 'disabled'.
Hello Srinithi,Those links were for reference. You can always write a
click expression on your button, hit your servlet and fetch results. If
your search web service have swagger / wsdl configured, you can directly
map your fields to its input and output using rule editor. If
your result is in form of array/list, you will find it useful to use
repeatable panels or repeatable row in table .
Yes, both are possible. You can write your data dumping / retrieval logic
in java or if you wish you can store in JCR as well.
Sure, You would be able to achieve it by AEM Forms. Please refer to
following links, for any reference.
This seems a typical case of 'Revalidate on server' and REST submit
action POST capability. In case you don't wish to write validation rules
for client as you stated on other thread, that, you have a dedicated
server for validations, then in your custom POST action you can create a
POST request as we are doing in out of the box REST submit action.
Hi Joel,Can you elaborate on your usecase, what is that you are trying
to achieve? If you want a post to be made to a URL, have you tried "REST"
submit action, which allows you to post data to the specified URL.
Hi Joel,The link you specified is for site's form and not adaptive form.
We don't need or honor any servervalidation.jsp.All you need to do is
goto Form Authoring, and open Form Container dialog, and check
'Revalidate on server' under submissionsCan you please elaborate on use
cases where you don't wish to do an inter field validations on client
side. We have a lot of our customers having complex validation logic
which is done on client side and also have 'Re-validate on server'
Hi Joel,While authoring an Adaptive form, author can create validation
rules, calculation rules etc. for various fields (via rule editor).
These rules are run on client before submission, to ensure that correct
data is being submitted.Similarly if the author wishes to run the same
rules at server before configured submit action is invoked, one can
check 'Revalidate on server' option. In case server side validation
fails, list of errors is send back to client, and the errors are shown
on the fiel...
Yes, we do support such scenarios / use cases. You can write a prefill
service . In the prefill service, you can get user data and pass it
on.Once you have created a prefill service, you can associate it with
adaptive form. It could be configured in Form container dialog using
authoring 'AEM Forms prefill service' section of

Hi Rama,Could we have a Master template with just header and footer and
all Templates are derived out of it?No. There is no concept of
'template' of 'template'.But you can do that, if you are on 6.2. You can
go to template editor and create an AF template. And keep header and
footer locked in 'structure' layer, so no author creating form out of
that template will able to modify it.Also if you update the template
header and footer, all forms created out of that template, will show
updated header ...

Hi Daniel,As template is just a starting point for form, which gives a
proposed layout, theme for form. Template in no way, is capable of
predicting the actual fields / labels / tab titles of the form. Hence
the dictionary is kept with actual form, which has the sole governing
power over its fields, their labels, tab / wizard/ accordion titles
(which actually need to be localized)
Currently there is no Adaptive Form OOTB component, capable to take
input as 'rich text'.You can write a custom component using custom
widget, which supports rich text input capabilities. Following are the
links for how to write a custom widget:
