Using HTTPService and XML file

Had found and forgotten were to set the start node of an XMLfile retrieved by HTTPService.So I want the first node to contain say header data, wereother nodes contain the real data to be loaded into a DataGrid.Can't remeber how to skip a node.Any thoughts?
