Thank you! Makes sense as to why I couldn't use it to manage existing records. 

I need some guidance on how to use the kickstart template to maintain monthly updates to existing records; to append values over existing values for only 2 of the custom data fields added [YTD actuals] and [Month_End_NM] after each month end cycle.  Help?
