When we went to a flex schedule (9/80), we set up another schedule in Workfront to reflect those hours. You can apply schedules on the project level, so perhaps that would help, as it presets the days and hours work can happen.Does that sound helpful? I think I understand the problem you want to sol...
Hi Lyndsy,The two ways I've found to indicate time off for a user:1) Entered by the user in their calendar - accessed from the user's profile page.2) Entered on the Timesheet (this assumes you have the "General Time" section active for your Timesheets. Hope that's helpful. Dave
We convert the request into a project. We have a Communications Lead who assesses whether we need content written, as the proposals consist of repeatable content blocks that describe our marketable products. When a new product is active, we start an initiative/project for that content, but sometimes...
@Becky Daniel‚ we have run into a similar issue. Our Fundraising team submits requests for proposals that have to be delivered before the investor meeting. We keep that date in the system, but the tasks for the proposal are put in the regular sprints. Those who oversee proposal production ensure the...
We are using Scrum in our Marketing and Creative teams. It's best to think of it as a hybrid, as we have the rituals, but are learning to flex with the urgent and fire projects that inevitably come up. We typically call projects "initiatives", which are then subdivided into epics, then stories/tasks...
Ryan, Typically it comes into play for us when we have a formatted report or other documents. We use it first between editors and designers to be sure everything was implemented properly, then send another proof for client review. We've appreciated the version control and the ability to compare two...
Hey Tom,We don't do much with issues, but we accomplish this through task reports. The screenshot below is actually from a Dashboard, but I would think it's possible in a report showing issues. Here a writer is looking at a report, sees a task she wants to write for. She clicks once in the Assignmen...
We put our parent tasks in the iteration; they serve as Epics. We do 2-week sprints, but we often have tasks that don't complete because something wasn't ready or approved. This then necessitates moving to the next iteration. The epics do record completed story points for their subtasks.
Frank,I agree the current iteration should be priority; thanks for your response. Our struggle is data integrity. Our leadership team expects to see the percent complete of planned work for each sprint, and to see whether it is at our preferred metric. If we move tasks out of old sprints, wouldn't th...
