@Heather_Kulbacki Thank you so much.  After I posted that comment, I did some more digging and found the solution you presented.  Even being able to edit custom forms will make a HUGE difference for our organization.

I absolutely agree with these suggestions.  We have need to make updates to an issue's custom forms while it is in an approval process. 

Yes!! I totally agree with this suggestion!! The only way to know your proof was approved is to go back into the proof and see what the status is there. In the document section, CLEARLY display the status of the proof!

Please also consider adding the functionality to attach documents to the updates. It is annoying to have to leave the updates to go into the Documents to attach a document related to the update.
