  • This is exactly what happened to us. The power users who are already familiar with and submit multiple requests a day, didn't pay attention to what the field was even called. They know what needs to go in that location. However, there were a couple of people who only submit once a month, and those a...

  • hey @Denise Moore can you be more specific about what the problems are? Is it that requests are starting to come in with the user's name in the request title? Or some other problem? -skye

  • Vazgen, I want to give you full points for trying to remain consistent but we're really talking about two different things here. Our Requestors get very different training than our Project Creators. Often they get no training. And when creating a project, you are presented with a completely differen...

  • I came here to say the same thing as Barb: users are going to enter their own name on every request. Sorry for any misunderstanding you got from my survey answer: it was never my intent to indicate that "Name" was a satisfactory title for the request. -skye

  • hey Benetta, I don't think the milestone view is a sendable report, but you can certainly somewhat replicate it using Jason's "Collections" session slides. He has an example with milestones on there. -skye

  • Yep, for me it ended up boiling down to trying to understand the philosophy. So, it seems possible that Workfront doesn't have a good solution for this kind of stuff (default Planned Hours in a request or issue object). When you're specifically talking Resource Planning, and issue objects are define...

  • Hey Heather, you can get issues to show up in the resource planner by changing what you see in the settings area (cog in the Planning tool). Issues have hours assigned to them (planned hours) but Workfront just assumed the hours are equal to the duration. If your issue is going to take 3 days to com...

  • Did anyone integrate Workfront with Active Directory and have anything they can share? I'm looking for something that takes the load off requiring someone to tell me when there's been a user change, so basically as users get job title or manager changes in AD, this triggers a change in WF and if the...

  • hey Tammie, thanks for asking. Since I posted this, there's been a change in Workfront feature so that programs can now be deactivated. There are a few good reasons to go with yearly portfolios and one of the big ones WAS that there wasn't a way to "archive" programs so that they didn't have to be s...
