To import multiple values on a custom field, make sure you have the Preferences tab on your Excel file, and set it up like this (if you want to use a comma):

Would a project with 50 tasks work? Then you can create a task report and filter on that project.

Can you provide a screenshot of what you have or actual names of the fields? If you have special characters in your field names, that might make a difference.
