I agree. This is long overdue. Opened a help desk ticket about this several years ago and the alternative they gave me was to create a report. In addition to being able to filter to include any date range, it would be nice if you could also group the data by project or a custom field. :)

I agree. We have run into issues with this as well. We are not a "time" driven organization and it is frustrating to have to deal with that, especially when it shows a task as late only because of the "time" component.

Done! Upvoted this one for you. This is sorely needed for Tasks and Issues as well. It is a never ending battle on the admin side to check exception reports each week to ensure that when PMs add new Tasks or Issues to projects that custom forms are attached. We rely heavily on this for reporting...

This would be beneficial. One of the use cases from our PMs for the type of feature is to have a way to color Tasks on the Gantt by Team, etc. via a value contained in a custom field.

Yes, this would be a nice improvement. It would be nice is control was enabled down at the Group level, as our Information Tech. group would rather not allow access, however, our Marketing group which uses the same instance may want their users to have that flexibility.
