Thanks for quick reply. Will there be security or other kind of issue using OOTB  j_security_check instead of custom auth handler ?? My use case is pretty straightforward. 

Use case - create a login page and  let user log in to see certain pages in AEM production.  I know we can use CUG and enable auth for that page.
