Re: Target DataProvider and regional mbox? - Adobe Target 21-05-2020
Yes, all three right on that account! I was reading this though https://docs.adobe.com/content/help/en/target-learn/tutorials/integrations/use-data-providers-to-integrate-third-party-data.html which has a way to abstract this out a bit and let AT make the third party call in a timely way without custom code. But it appears to only work with global mbox. Maybe it is the nature of regional mbox though that eschews this data provider abstraction?

Target DataProvider and regional mbox? - Adobe Target 15-05-2020
I need to call a 3rd part service in coordination with an Activity. I am looking at DataProviders. How to tell Target (at.js) which mbox depends on the data provider? That is, if I have 3 mbox, regional not global, on a particular web page and I need only one of these mbox to depend on the data provider, is this possible? Every example I find so far sets the data providers on targetGlobalSettings only for the global mbox, but can a data provider be passed to getOffers()?

Re: To global or to regional, that is the question - Adobe Target 13-05-2020
Again thanks! we have A4T set, so good there. Our use case is concerning the case of say 3rd party data needed for an Activity. Another case is we need to derive a data layer data point from the DOM, assume we have no server-side generated data layer., to pass as a param to Target. In both of these instance, the global mbox use would hold up delivery of said global mbox right? and introduce massive FOOC right? Or am I missing something?

Re: To global or to regional, that is the question - Adobe Target 08-05-2020
thanks Ryan! Hoping you can help me get my head around this use case though. We may have the need to load a mbox or 'location' passing in data captured from user interaction or data that is fetched from a server call. If I'm following correctly, this would cause holding up the global mbox from completing and thus holding the whole UI causing lots of flicker. Would it be a best practice to maybe say that if an activity/test needs specific data not available at page load, use a region? l?

To global or to regional, that is the question - Adobe Target 30-04-2020
I'm a bit new to Target and trying to build some guideline docs. Can anyone point me to a 'best practice' on when to choose a regional mbox over global mbox?
