AEM Asset timeline filter workflows drop-down list - Adobe Experience Manager

Hi All, Is there any way to filter the workflows in drop down list of timeline for an Asset. Scenario is when after User logs-in should be able to see workflows in drop-down which are assigned to a respective group to which user belong to. Would really appreciate if anyone provide your suggestions to fulfill such usecase. Thanks

Hi ChitraMadan, Yes rootPath is serving the purpose to some extent but using ContentOnly option shown in screenshot is from where user can go & select any other folder path in AEM. This has to be restricted, Please let me know if you got the problem. Thanks.

Hi All, Have a requirement where a workflow notification user selects task and completes it by providing path in custom dialog which was provided. Needs to Restrict other folder path selection in pathbrowser. Have used 'rootpath' property on pathbrowser to restrict it is to some extent working but using content only option mentioned in screenshot we can able to select other folder paths using it. How to resolve this use case by restricting users to select folder from certain hierarchy path only....

Hi All, Want to restrict in triggering a workflow on an Asset from 'Timeline' option when asset have certain property value set on it. Also needs to restrict trigger workflow on an asset if it is in folder path ending with certain suffix like /content/dam/folderA/nA, /content/dam/folderB/nA, /content/dam/folderC/nA paths i.e. assets under folder nA are not allowed for workflow, needs to restrict nA folder assets across /content/dam wherever folder /nA exists. AEM permission to enable Start Workflow button - Adobe Experience Manager

Hi Team, A group have Create, Modify and Read access to a folder. When a user of that group login & try to trigger a workflow on any of assets which are under that particular folder observes that Start Workflow button in timeline is disabled. What permissions as to be assigned to a user so that he can select the workflow from Start workflow button with out violating above three permissions on that folder. Thanks.

As soon as have deployed the bundle with scheduler removeModifier() & Activate() method are called. and after that nothing proceeds for execution. Once again after we save respective config file scheduler gets triggered. Always while deploying bundle it removing and activate is called. That`s it. Anymore inputs to resolve it would really help.

Yes have included. Using OSGi r6 annotations for configuration class but could observe that activate method is called but not run() method, not sure no logs of error are thrown.

Yes offloading is working perfectly fine with all metadata & renditions to Master but replication from Master to Publisher is happening with out Renditions.Could you share details to be mentioned in launcher in each param that would be available on Master.

Hi, yes metadata node is created after changing event type to 'Modified',but observed that workflow instances are created & getting triggered continuously at the back-end & publishing it to instance. Also thumbnails are not generated in renditions folder(only original is available).

Yes created a custom workflow launcher and did. It is getting published to Publisher but with no metadata node on asset.Event Type : Created, Node Type : nt:unstructured, Path : /content/dam(/.*)/jcr:content/metadata,Run Mode(s) : Author & Publish, Conditions : dc:format!=,Workflow : Scheduled Page/Asset ActivationTried few diff scenarios as well but not working as expected. Any pointers here.

@ Berliant,Tried update as suggested DAM Update Asset Offloading workflow, but things didn't work out as expected.Asset is getting replicated to Publisher as soon as it uploads to Master instance i.e before creation of renditions.Throwing exceptions like "com.day.cq.dam.core.impl.AssetImpl getMetadataValue: metadata node does not exist for asset","SlingRequestProcessorImpl service: Uncaught SlingException java.lang.NullPointerException: null" etc.Could any one suggest any other ways for publishi...

Now Slave instance replicate back processed content to Master instance as per Offloading approach.Now we want to replicate the content that got reflected in Master instance to Publisher.Observed that replication is not happening on Master instance to Publisher after Slave instance completes its replication back to Master.Could you any provide any points on this.ThanksSailaxman
