I created an XT Activity using VEC. Only one part of the page was changed in the Activity, some text in the banner on top of the page. After the edits were made, the page was reviewed using the QA link. It was fine and so the Activity was activated. Days after the Activity was activated, the page was edited but the changes were not a Target Activity, it was a regular page content update made by our web production team and completely unrelated to Target. This is a regular occurrence, the page is ...

@perrin_ennen thanks. I guess Adobe never built a way to estimate Target audiences. I will try your suggested method.

We have several audiences created in Target (not shared from Experience Cloud) that will be used for Experience Targeting activities. The activities are not activated yet. Is there any way to get the estimated size of these audiences? i.e. x amount of visitors would have qualified for the activity if it were active. Part of the reason I'm asking is to validate that the audiences created are valid and would qualify visitors as opposed to activating the activities only to find out no one is qualif...

@Andrey_Osadchuk thank you, I think it's working. I set up a rule that fires on form submit and set up an action on that rule similar to the trackevent example you sent. I tried to verify. In the console there is a hit that matches the response (the radio button) I selected. Look at the request payload below. Under Request Payload>Request ID (some ID)>Notifications>0>profileParameters and in here I see the param name productSurveyChoice (this is the param I set up) and the value is correct, the ...

Use case:We have a simple form consisting of a few radio buttons and a submit button. The response to this survey page will drive personalization in Target.Sample scenario:In survey page/form it says what is your favourite letter: the choices (radio buttons) are a, b and c.On form submit, collect the response (a, b, or c). Use data element to store this value. In AEPDC aka Launch, set up a rule - on form submit, assign profile parameter to the response; e.g. profile.surveyResponse = the response ...

I need to build the following segment in AAM:Repeat visitors to page A but did not browse to page B on previous visit. This segment is to be used in Target for personalization. I have an evar that captures new or repeat visitor. I can use it in combination with the evar that has the page name. Therefore, combining the two I can specify evar for new/repeat == repeat AND evar for pagename == Page A.This will satisfy the first part, repeat visitors to page A. The second part is the one I need help ...

@Stewart_Schilling thanks, I tried your suggestion but it didn't work. It gave me an idea though that did.In Analytics extension in Launch > Configure the tracker using custom code. I edited the code (there was existing code there already). I was already using s.trackExternalLinks in the custom code but made changes to it. s.trackExternalLinks = true;s.linkInternalFilters = "mysite.com,"+window.location.hostname; As you can see, I added window.location.hostname which will be dynamic; i.e. the cu...

We are using one Launch property for multiple domains. They are websites for people affiliated with our company. The sites are all created via a master template so they have the same structure but customized for each affiliate and they each have their own domain. There are hundreds of these templated sites. Each click within the site (navigating around different pages within the site) fires an exit link. So there are two links for every page view within the site - the PV hit and an exit link hit...

In Adobe Launch, Adobe Analytics extension, Use Activity Map is checked. Enable ClickMap is checked, Tracked Download Links is checked. In the corresponding website there are phone number links for an office phone, a fax and a mobile phone. When the phone/fax/mobile number links are clicked on the webpage, they're tracked in activity map with the phone numbers being set as Activity Map Link. I need to exclude all of these phone numbers from being tracked in Activity Map. The webpage code looks s...

We have a website currently https://www.oldwebsite.com, using tracking server smetrics.oldwebsite.com. This site's URL/domain will change to https://www.newwebsite.com. I've initiated the steps to implement a new first-party SSL certificate for first-party cookies for the new domain. When this process is over and the domain change is in effect, I will edit the settings in Launch and set the tracking server on www.newwebsite.com to smetrics.newwebsite.com (the new tracking server). This is all fi...

I have a Target A/B test running currently. In the page where the test is running I have a hero image and a button. Clicking on the button is the conversion. The audience used for this A/B test was created in Audience Manager. I need to create another Target activity. The audience will be visitors who saw the A/B test but did not click on the button. I'm trying to use Audience Manager again to create an audience. I saw another post here about using targetraw to create Traits. This:https://experi...

I have a success event that fires on form submit. It sets and sends several pieces of data such as the form name, language and so on into evars. This success event is assigned to event1. I'm doing an audit and found out that there are similar success events that also fire on form submit and sends similar data but using a different event number, lets say event2. So in essence I have duplicate events; same kind of success event (form submit) and same evars are set but different event numbers (even...

In Workspace I'm seeing a large amount of Unspecified as Page (dimension) specifically under these conditions-I created a freeform table with Page as the dimension and Page View and Visits as metrics. Results: Unspecified doesn't appear in the list of pages. This is the OOTB Page dimension, not a custom evar or prop.I duplicated the above table and removed Page View from metrics so now it's just Page and Visits. Results: Unspecified page has 39.6% of Visits; Unspecified is the top (has the most ...

Hello everyone. I would like to know what others are using to test Launch and Adobe Analytics. I've always used Chrome Console and Adobe Experience Platform Debugger. When setting up tags in Launch, I typically use the Chrome Console tab and Network tab. Console lets me see what tags fired and Network lets me see the contents of beacons and other data. I use the debugger and usually download it to Excel to take a closer look at every beacon sent; e.g. what data was transferred in props/evars and ...
